They've been dropping bags as far back as Tressel, if not longer. Tattoo gate was spun as just trading memorabilia forTattoos but that was the furthest thing from the truth. Terrell Pryor was a lock for Michigan and RR, then all the sudden he commits to ohio state and has a brand new nissan 350z and several photos on social media of Fanned out Benjamin's at Columbus clubs. Not to mention these kids weren't required by the school to go to class either.

As someone who actually knows the dirt on Tressel and Pryor - the 350Z was actually one of the last cars he had... after he totalled his previous car in the WHAC parking lot late at night/early in the morning.  He totalled it into a female athlete's car (volleyball player if my memory is correct) and Tressel was nearly immediately called and got it all swept away.

The Nissan followed that.  Pryor went through a ton of cars during his OSU days.

Yes, the "tattoos scandal" was about much, much more than mere freebie tattoos. That's just what the public heard.  You don't earn a show cause for free tattoos.

The land of mercenaries…

I have this feeling he’ll say - “Tell me about your NIL and brown bag program.   And, I’ll tell you how the real pros do it.  It’s like Top Gun - I’m gonna make you even better…”

He’s the perfect fit for the folks in Columbus.

I'm sure he's already made his first call to Pettiti or the other way around.

Hopefully this OSU AD will have enough class to not get in arguments with sideline employees/volunteers.

And may he be completely incompetent managing all athletic programs.

Wait, isn't this the guy that wrote the contract which extended Jimbo Fisher’s contract from 3 to 10 years?  Later, after being noncompetitive in the SEC and fired by the schools regents, Jimbo was given $76M to leave?

Good hire.

Bjork was the AD at Miss. who was involved in the Hugh Freeze/Hoiuston McNutt fiasco; and he also defended Miss. when Shea Patterson and his attorney Tom Mars brought accusations of fraud against the school.
