But but but Chip Kelly is racist!

Graham was the highlight of my freshman year at Michigan lol.

That front 7 is going to be awesome on the Eagles. Hopefully Kendricks and Alonso can stay healthy.

I'm certain that Skip and SAS know a lot of the stuff they babble is brainless BS but they do it anyway because it drums up ratings. I think I would respect them slightly more if I thought they actually believed it, instead they're just morons acting like even deeper morons to make sure someone still cares about the dumb things coming out of their mouths.

To your second point, if the offense can stay on the field a little bit longer, that defensive group should be even better.  Once Chip gets his QB, they may be able to sustain drives more often

Really. Kid really turned his passion around at Michigan at a time when most were giving up or had a reason to. He'd shown flashes in the NFL but I think he was buried due to injuries and (even more so, IMO) not fitting in the old system. What Kelly likes to do on defense fits Graham much better. I think he'll be worth that money. I honestly was hoping they'd sleep on him, release him & Detroit could get a good player at a great deal.

I'm so happy for Brandon. He was the one star in our program, other than Zoltan, during its darkest period and I am proud to have him represent UM at the next level. I know a couple of years ago people were saying he was about to get cut, well it seems he was not being utilized correctly by the previous Philly staff...keep it going BG!

This is a message board intended for public discussion about Michigan Football and its players.

Why would you, member who has been here a whopping four months, be the person to determine what can be posted? I'vw been lurking for longer than that.

He was drafted for a 4-3 defense and proceeded to get injured in his first year while the guy drafted behind him (JPP) became an all-world player for the Giants. Then the Birds switched to a 3-4 and there have been constant rumblings about him not being a "fit", even though the (excellent) Birds 24/7 blog has consistently rated BG among the best Eagles players on their all-22 review.

For all of that, Eagles fans who be a bit (ahem) difficult on their own team have always respected how hard he has worked and how productive he has been given the bad cards he was dealt. The fact that the Birds missed out on McCourty and that the Giants wanted BG made it obvious that it would be better to have a less than perfect fit at OLB than have him go, especially to the GIants. All in all, Eagles fans are quite happy with the deal, which is in large part based on the kind of person BG is
