Brady and Brees together after the game with Brees' family
I thought that was really good, two greats hugging it out after the game and Tom throwing a TD to Brees' son. Nice seeing the other side of athletes just being good people and outside a media interview reciting the standard talking points.
Hope I embedded this correctly

Wrong on both accounts. It was Ted Theodore Logan.

Here's the boxscore from the first Brady-Brees matchup: https://www.espn.com/ncf/1999/991002/boxscore/ppjmmk.html
I don't anyone expected either of these two would still be slinging it around and breaking records.

I was at that game. I remember that it was raining and there were some dropped passes but yeesh, 20-49 passing for Brees?
January 18th, 2021 at 11:46 AM ^
The first half was miserable, cold and raining. However, the conditions can't credibly be used as an excuse, it was 21-6 at the half and Purdue was playing on the same field as Michigan.

Embedding a Tweet is pretty easy but the process is different than it used to be and hasn't been officially stated anywhere to my knowledge (I've posted it once or twice somewhere else). Props to theGlove for first discovering this.
- Copy the URL for the Tweet to the clipboard. It needs to be the URL from the address bar, not the "Embed Tweet" code. It can be done on a phone but probably will require you to view the Tweet in a mobile browser as opposed to the Twitter app.
- Click the "Source" icon in the mgoblog comment interface.
- Write the following, starting at <oembed>:
- <oembed>[insert Tweet URL here]</oembed>
- Voila, your posted Tweet will appear just like it does on Twitter
If your post contains content other than the embedded Tweet, I'd suggest writing your post content first and leaving space to do the "source" <oembed> part.

This is probably a dumb question, but does your embed directions work for other such such as gifs, pics, etc. or that a different process?
January 18th, 2021 at 1:07 PM ^
Pics are pretty easy, you just click the "insert images using Imce File Manager" icon at the top of the posting window (icon looks like a picture of mountains with the sun, just mouse over the buttons to see descriptions).
Click "Upload" button, then "add file", then 'Select". The file mgr is a list of your uploaded images that you can reuse later by just clicking on a file name, the preview will load at the bottom, then just "Select". I can do pics and gifs this way, but I don't really want to go thru the trouble to embed videos.

Even easier if you're sourcing it from somewhere already online. Just right click the image, select "copy," and paste in the response. It works for most sites, but not all, as some sites block image copy.

It was a terrific pass, just over the defenders finger tips, and—for a kid—a terrific catch.

You'd think they'd had a spring and summer camp to prefect that play, would that any current Michigan players could pull that off on a moments notice.

Brees is a really good person. Was great to see and Tom, even though a big competitor, going out after the game as he is also a big family guy. Great thing to be able to witness. Hope nothing but the best for Tom now and hoping he wins the next one and moves on.
