The two Big 10 teams that regularly outperform their seed in the NCAA tournament are Wisconsin and Michigan, and I’m convinced both are at least partially due to reffing. Michigan because they get away from Big 10 road arena whistles, and Wisconsin because they absolutely befuddle unfamiliar refs with their bullshit.

Over twenty, but still in college. I'm sure guys like Jim Jackson and Mateen Cleaves weren't loved, but I really have no basis for that. And my earliest memories of Michigan basketball were of just terrible teams. Kinda hard to hate any one player in particular when they all beat you all the time

What was so bad about Craft? Just because he was a pest defensively and clapped his hands a lot? Because it took him forever to graduate (which I guarantee people say about Simpson next year...I forgot he's only a junior).
And you can't joke about a poster being under 20 if YOU don't include Valentine. That just makes you old.
Valentine actually talked shit the entire game, he cried and baited refs, MSU fans liked him...he'd start the slap the floor thing that they did on defense.
And he was soooo overrated at actually playing the game of basketball. If you can't add that to your list... I'm going with the millennial.

In all seriousness, if you're good and not a douche...I don't hate you. So Craft and Zeller don't make my list. Zavier Simpson is basically black Aaron Craft with a hook shot and braids if we're honest. I've never seen on ball defenders at their size that are as good as they are/were...ever.
I'd replace them with some early/mid 90s IU, Purdue or MSU players.
Also didn't hate Ferrell, but I couldn't agree more with the rest of your list. Can I nominate Valentine for captain?

I'd add that Simpson is faster/more explosive, a better passer and has better handles. Maybe my memory of Craft is fading but I don't think he could get to the hoop or run pick and rolls like Simpson now can.

I don't remember anything particularly dislikable about Oladipo, other than that he was really good. Am I forgetting something?

Oladipo was actually a hell of a player to watch when he wasn't playing Michigan. That IU team was loaded and it's unbelievable that Crean couldn't take that bunch beyond the Sweet 16.
