Blyve Stanford at Washington
Might as well use up the rest of September on blyve.
GO BLUE
Stanford visits Washington in Seattle. Should be fun.

Washington has got to be the most under the radar team this year.
Maybe this is the year they finally squash Oregon like Tennessee did Florida haha.

Unless Michigan would somehow stand to benefit from a Stanford loss, I always find myself rooting for Stanford. It's not just that Harbaugh is partly responsible for the resurgence of that program, but that Stanford is one of very few program that can legitimately claim to do things the right way (no one ever heard of a Stanford bag man) and perhaps the only program that is more academically restricted than Michigan but still somehow manages to win conference championships and contend for national championships on a consistent basis.

Manages to win conference championships and contend for championships on a consistent basis?
Not sure if you remember, but before Harbaugh got there, they were basically the laughing stock for college football for damn near two full decades.

Well, they needed OT to beat Arizona. The jury's still out on them.

Rutgers
Idaho
Portland State
Arizona
very Meh.
Stanford has wins against Kansas State, USC, UCLA.

Very similar to the resumes of Michigan and Wisconsin. Both games will tell a lot about the 4 teams involved. I think this game tonight is closer than ours tomorrow. I think our offense fairs a lot better than the Badgers' in a defensive showdown.

We will see if washington is for real
September 30th, 2016 at 6:15 PM ^
Now, this is some hardcore pregaming, but I can respect it indeed.
Stanford / Washington should actually be a pretty good game, I think.
September 30th, 2016 at 6:20 PM ^
I got Stanford tonight, and possibly a playoff team (though going into the season I didn't have them as one of my four). I like that team quite a bit. Stanford by 12, 29-17
September 30th, 2016 at 7:25 PM ^
Very, very high likelihood that the winner of this game makes the playoff.
September 30th, 2016 at 8:01 PM ^
makes it. The Pac 10 and Big 12 would likely be the conferences that miss out.
September 30th, 2016 at 11:46 PM ^
I think the Pac 12 champ has a better chance than the AAC champ, just saying. Houston hasn't been really challenged yet. We'll see.
September 30th, 2016 at 6:20 PM ^
I think Washington rolls in this one...
September 30th, 2016 at 6:38 PM ^
I like Washington too

We smrt
September 30th, 2016 at 7:33 PM ^
On occasion.
September 30th, 2016 at 6:24 PM ^
All the loss are closed off in the area in preparation with tons of ppl tailgating in random places all over campus. Sounds like it's going to be crazy!
September 30th, 2016 at 6:25 PM ^
Lots that is
September 30th, 2016 at 6:31 PM ^
At a glance, I thought "Blyve Stanford" was a recruit who was visiting Washington.
September 30th, 2016 at 6:37 PM ^
You're not the only one.
September 30th, 2016 at 6:38 PM ^
Am I showing my age by not knowing what blyve is?
September 30th, 2016 at 6:47 PM ^
I knew nothing about Blyve before this thread, either.
September 30th, 2016 at 7:21 PM ^
I still don't know. Googling didn't help much. I think I get what a blyve is, but now how it's applicable here. So maybe I don't really know.
September 30th, 2016 at 7:44 PM ^
Yeah, I should restate that. Thanks to this thread, I'm aware that something called "blyve" exists, whatever it is.
September 30th, 2016 at 6:51 PM ^
Like RobM above, I thought it was a recruit visiting Stanford.
September 30th, 2016 at 7:17 PM ^
It's the children who are wrong.
September 30th, 2016 at 6:54 PM ^
Stanford is the better team. I'd bet they win by 10 or so.
September 30th, 2016 at 7:02 PM ^
I know Washington played RR close last week, but Stanford hasn't exactly been dominating teams either. I'll take Washington at home.
September 30th, 2016 at 7:46 PM ^
Stanford always seems to do that though. They limp by, but they win. They have also played a solid schedule thus far.
Washington's more of an unknown commodity.
September 30th, 2016 at 7:53 PM ^
Michigan and Washington are actually very similar right now. Hyped up preseason teams without much previous experience to show for it plus weak early schedules but based on other merits do seem legit. I'm not sure Washington wins, but it's an interesting match up, similar to ours.
September 30th, 2016 at 7:57 PM ^
Well, we went 10-3 last year and demolished Florida in the bowl. Washington went 7-6.
September 30th, 2016 at 8:09 PM ^
Not saying our hype is unwarranted. But I'm guessing that theirs isn't either.
September 30th, 2016 at 8:37 PM ^
Damn, I was hoping Blyve Stanford would come to Ann Arbor this week for our big recruiting weekend. I watched his film and he is a beast in the making. Don't get me wrong, I love the guys we currently have at his position, but you know he'd see the field early on. He would look awesome in blue.
...Wait, that's not a recruit's name? Uh, move along!
