There is another thread already.

New Jerseys - like or dislike?
December 11th, 2010 at 3:32 PM ^
They look better on than off. Not something we want to wear regularly, though.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:44 PM ^
For the purpose of the game: love 'em. They probably should be a one and done use, though.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:48 PM ^
Because they are legit throwbacks that don't tweak them to look stupid like Nike does.
December 11th, 2010 at 4:02 PM ^
Also because they are absurd, perhaps even more so than Comley's hat.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:29 PM ^
Nice crowd. Looks about 90-95% UM fans too which is nice to see, considering how many MSU/OSU fans somehow make it too their football games.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:30 PM ^
Wow, the good weather means there really are 110,000 + at the game.
It might be almost as warm outside today as it is @ Yost!
December 11th, 2010 at 3:31 PM ^
SCORE!!
December 11th, 2010 at 3:31 PM ^
Does this look like a fail watching it on TV? The fans aren't anywhere near the rink, and it doesn't look very lively in there. I don't know how a recruit with not much interest in hockey would be terribly impressed.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:34 PM ^
Ummm...what?
Michigan makes it 2-0!!!!
December 11th, 2010 at 3:34 PM ^
I would hope recruits are in a luxury box.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:37 PM ^
Is that allowed?
December 11th, 2010 at 3:50 PM ^
But I think only if it is an official visit.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:44 PM ^
Michigan's all-time leading rusher Mike Hart along with Sean Griffin. Good to see some Wolverine alums showing support.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:45 PM ^
Mike Hart is the man
December 11th, 2010 at 4:19 PM ^
Someday, I think he'd make a great Michigan coach. Or an AD, DB-stye
December 11th, 2010 at 6:16 PM ^
He has said he wants to coach someday and he bleeds maize and blue, great fit.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:57 PM ^
I love to see how much Mike Hart loves our school. I also love to see fellow former CC grads still continuing the CC to UM pipeline in Sean.
December 11th, 2010 at 7:12 PM ^
was at the regional in Fort Wayne, watching Michigan hockey play. I got to talk to him for a little bit, great guy.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:35 PM ^
The picture in HD on BTN is fantastic!
Not sure why they do not have the field mics on the broadcast. It is probably a lot louder than it sounds on the TV machine.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:37 PM ^
I'm pretty sure the atmosphere is absolutely electric there.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:05 PM ^
No, it was pretty tame. Just got back, it started to get mega cold and finals studying is calling.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:36 PM ^
The ice looks terrible. You can hardly read any of the logos under the ice. I'd be pissed if I paid a lot of money for ice advertising. Oh well, our team seems to like it.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:38 PM ^
I'd say the ice looks a lot better than the ice from the game at MSU in 2001. I watched part of the replay of that game last night and the ice looked pretty snowy.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:39 PM ^
is fine. The reason you can't see the writing is that they put more water down overnight to make it better. I'm sure you can see the writing just fine in the Big House.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:39 PM ^
Holy shit, Lawrence Kasdan went to Michigan? How's that for a coincidence, born in Morgantown, and goes on to go to Michigan.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:40 PM ^
You've got to feel for Hogan who gets hurt just before the game.
December 11th, 2010 at 6:17 PM ^
Kind of a weird injury. Goalies typically stretch a ton so they don't pull their groins.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:40 PM ^
WTF kind of hats are the MSU coaches wearing? They look ridiculous.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:44 PM ^
Mike Babcock could pull it off. These guys can't.
December 11th, 2010 at 5:19 PM ^
With that stare of his, Mike Babcock could pull off a pink tutu.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:53 PM ^
I'm your huckleberry
December 11th, 2010 at 3:41 PM ^
I was little disappointed and remain disappointed in the coverage of the event, rather than the game. Aside from acknowledging it's being played outdoors, there's been too little of the extra stuff.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:42 PM ^
It would be fun to see the Marching Band slip/slide all over the ice.
December 11th, 2010 at 4:17 PM ^
OSU's band marched last week on their rink, I was willing to spend a lot of my life karma to see they guy dotting the I wipe out but no such luck.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:44 PM ^
No liveblog for this momentous event!?
Fail.
December 11th, 2010 at 4:35 PM ^
I'd guess all the mods are at the game. I know I would be if I didn't live over 1000 miles away.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:46 PM ^
Whoever thought this up - kudos to you!!
December 11th, 2010 at 3:50 PM ^
It's got to be pretty cool to be the guy who scored two goals in front of the largest crowd ever. Let's get him the hat trick!
December 11th, 2010 at 3:58 PM ^
No one would be able to reach the ice with a hat.
December 11th, 2010 at 4:11 PM ^
It would be fun to watch fans try. Anyone who reaches the ice should get FREE PIZZA!
December 11th, 2010 at 4:57 PM ^
it'd be dominos
December 12th, 2010 at 3:58 PM ^
from Goldfinger. Top-Hat would make it no problem
December 11th, 2010 at 3:52 PM ^
Put a roof on the Big House (sacrilege I know) and you could play all sports there. Well, maybe not baseball or rowing.
December 11th, 2010 at 4:13 PM ^
Well, you could, but then you'd have tons and tons of empty seats for most events. Think PSU basketball (or the Pistons at the Silverdome, before they became good).
December 11th, 2010 at 3:54 PM ^
God bless the person who thought of this.
December 11th, 2010 at 3:58 PM ^
Just dropping by here from my phone at the game, and yes it is electric here (I'm looking at you .ghost.).
December 11th, 2010 at 4:15 PM ^
Can I get a big LOL at Mickey Redmond's hat? Don't tell him I said that, though. He could still kick my ass. That makes me wonder, who would win in a fight between The Mick and Red Berenson?
December 11th, 2010 at 4:20 PM ^
I have really missed FSD and Mickey, so nice to see him here.
