I was also at Buffalo Billards! I hugged a lot of random people then drank a ton of beer. |

My sister went to state. I visited her a few times and truthfully never even had a decent time. She was a big party girl but for some reason their parties always consisted of 20 people drinking. She would actually come down to Michigan to party at my house because we threw such good parties. 341 E Jefferson! I miss college, damn its been 5 years... |
| 37 weeks 5 days ago | Michigan vs. Washington |
2002 - Freshman year. I had watched college football on and off but grew up a hockey player. I still would watch games but not like an everyweek thing. It was the same with the NFL. Once I hit college I started to watch a ton more. Michigan missed 3 FGs in the game. 2 of with were Brabbs. As time ran out he kicked a 44 yeard FG to win the game. I just remember going crazy in the student section jumping and hugging everyone. It was the second best game of my college career. Braylonfest being the best. In case you were wonder, I cheated for the details. |

Personally I would contact a local accountant. If you are near Rochester I can vouch for Bill Estes (248) 651-9899. Being self employed you may even be missing deductions that you should be getting. I have actually been audited twice, both times because I made stupid mistakes on my return. Sometimes its just a wrong number, or accidently using last years form that can get you pulled. The corporate clients I work with get audited non stop. |
| 40 weeks 3 days ago | I dont understand what is |
I dont understand what is wrong with letting them play the game. They made their mistakes MONTHS before the game. Why is it that the only punishment that you are allowed to give them is missing a game? I am sure there are tons of other things that can be done to make them learn a lesson. Sure missing a game is big but it is also super delayed. Along these lines it seems reasonable that if a player were to make a mistake celebrating a bowl game win that they would be suspended for the next seasons opener. |

Also Manningham and Arrington may have stayed. So take those 4 guys and add them to the team and we dont go through the total hell we did. |

There is a free version and a pay version. The pay is like $50, not a big deal. Xplit isnt NEEDED, it would just be used if you wanted to have something shown on the screen next to chat. If i remember correctly the free version just has a watermark. It would be free for all users and only one mod would need xsplit. All other mods could just be modded in chat. |

Justin.TV is free. If you wanted someone updating the news on the video feed you would need to have someone run xsplit. |
| 41 weeks 6 days ago | IRC or a Justin.TV stream. |
IRC or a Justin.TV stream. You dont need to show the game on the JustinTV stream, you could literally show nothing, the chats work even though nothing is showing. I guess you could just use it for updates for the games like you do now on the mgoblog chat. |
| 49 weeks 19 hours ago | E&Y |
I think people forget that its not like the NBA does the lottery by themselves. E&Y oversees them. Do you really think one of the largest accounting firms in the world would risk BILLIONS just to rig a draft. As an accountant, I think this is the biggest hurdle to the only rigging. I could see the NBA doing it but not E&Y agreeing.
Before you say E&Y gets paid a ton from the NBA I gaurentee the NBA isnt even a top 10 client for them. |
| 1 year 8 weeks ago | Actually only one injury was |
Actually only one injury was worse, one not as bad. Point is the recovery from any surgery of the hand/wirst takes more than a week. In the recent press conference his coach said that he cant even brush his teeth, and you expect him to heal in 2 days. |
| 1 year 8 weeks ago | I forgot that athletes are |
I forgot that athletes are like wolverine and have super healing. It doesnt matter how you get injured be it a beer league or the NCAA. The point is that after any surgery on your hand/wrist you lose a ton of movement, movement that a NCAA player would need. |
| 1 year 8 weeks ago | I had a plate put |
I had a plate put in my wrist after breaking it. I am currently 8 1/2 weeks out from my surgery, the doctor wont even clear me to play hockey (how i broke it) for another 3 1/2 weeks and even then he is worried. I wasnt even allowed to start strengthing my wrist for 6 weeks. Personally i couldnt even dribble with my broken wrist right now and I am much further along, but I did have a worse break. I also had pins put in my broke finger 2 years ago, same dr. Once again it was 4 weeks before I was able to do anything active.
Anything less than a month seem crazy even on a clean break. |

Best: Psych 351 (i think) - It was a freshman semenar that met in cousins lobby. You got to chill on couches and talk about social issues(racism, GLBT, etc.). It was a 20 person class and as long as you did your weekly reading summary (which we were told could be on a napkin), didnt miss more than 1 class, and did the 2 group assignments (which you could redo for an auto A) you were garenteed an A in this class.
Worst: One of my 400 level Econ classes that I took my last semester in college before graduating. I cant remember the number but it was one of those calc based ones. Personally I love the social economic classes and hate the heavy math ones. Our teacher had a heavy russian accent and class was a 3 hour lecture 3 days a week with a discussion another day. We sat in a lecture hall even though we had about 30 people. I could not understand the teacher. I eventually stopped going and got called out at the end of the semester for never showing. I ended up with a C+ but I didnt care as it was my last class of my Bachlors, I had my job already, and was starting my Masters right after in Accounting. |
| 1 year 44 weeks ago | HoF for sure. His numbers |
HoF for sure. His numbers and stats are just too good to keep him out. Sure he had a great team ahead of him but he should not be bashed for that. I admit I rarely ever thought of him as a great goalie, but he did anchor some great teams. In order for those teams to be great he had to be at least good. Would he make the HoF had he been playing for Florida, no, but he didnt, he was, the goalie for the most dominant hockey team of the past 20 years.
As for putting his number in the rafters, I think that is a clear NO. HoF does not equal your number being hung. You have to be AMAZING to be hung. Stevie Y was a clear case to get hung asap and I think Nick is the next. Beyond that there really havent been players that I have been with the team long enough who contributed enough. |

They will care. It may take them a while, but he will get his. I mean hell, they audit people (like myself) over a few hundred dollars and I actually filed. |

Pryor Could Face IRS Payments? COLUMBUS -- Recent allegations that former OSU Quarter Back Terrelle Pryor earned as much as $40,000 for signing memorabilia could have him answering to the IRS. According to a Columbus tax attorney professor everything, Pryor exchanged for cash or services is considered income. That includes the sale of any personal memorabilia like gold pants or championship Rings -- even the market value of any tattoos he was given. If Pryor didn't report these as income to the Internal Revenue Service, then he faces even more trouble in the form of penalties and interest. |

As a tax accountant this was one of the first things that I thought of when all these stories started breaking. The tax implications of trading goods for tattoos is also something that I would be interested in from a tax perspective. |

If Stafford ACTUALLY starts and finishes all the regular season games the Lions will make the playoffs. I highly doubt that happens though. I think the Lions are screwed until their QB is no longer made of glass. |
| 2 years 3 weeks ago | Just out of school all they |
Just out of school all they are really going to care about is that you have thought of the CPA exam. You are coming out of school at a good time as the Big 4 are hiring like crazy right now. Accounting has definitly started to take strides out of the recession.
Also for the person who claimed Accountants got paid the most out of school... no way. The majority of my engineering friends with bachelors started out making more than me with my masters. Masters are basically required if you want to do public accounting with the CPA requirements being what they are. |
| 2 years 4 weeks ago | I fully agree with your #1. |
I fully agree with your #1. I remember myself hoping for that game to turn out the way it did. My buddy claimed I was praying (even though I am Atheist) and demanded I go to church with him if they won. I never did go to church with him. Only other Michigan game that I was at that was close was the win over Washington. My first Michigan game ever, my freshman year, and we win on a FG after missing a few. I remember hugging so many random people. |

Correct me if I am wrong, but the person on the cover of the NCAA game has always graduated the previous season (or left for the NFL) so I would assume they do get paid. |
