coming down for the Iowa PSU game...did not see the jerking motion though
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:35 PM ^
It was right in front of Coach Kelly... very much gif worthy. I'm just not that good with the internets to make such things.

Uncomfortable
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:40 PM ^
It was shortly before or after the ND field goal.
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:40 PM ^
I'll make another thread about it tomorrow if no one else confirms the time or makes a gif lol
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:44 PM ^
yeah i saw it it was at 5:17 of the 4th quarter and hilarious
September 24th, 2017 at 12:04 AM ^
I'm hoping I wake up to a gif of that because I'm going to send it to all my buddies in EL
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:38 PM ^
IBD, but I definitely saw it. Dude was wearing a red zebra-striped ND hat and he repeatedly did that motion.
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:42 PM ^
Priceless. As he looked like he was in the clear for 6 the ball was knocked out from behind. 2nd lost fumble at the goalline this year for LJ and the Sparty's are livid that he's still their #1. That would've made it a 14-21 game at the time. ND proceeded to get a TD drive after taking over at the 20.
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:45 PM ^
Would've been 21-14 and a different ball game of he held on for half a second longer.
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:50 PM ^
"Sparty NO!!!" moment right there. My wife and I had a good laugh over that play.
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:43 PM ^
Me, to answer your question.
Anything else?
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:47 PM ^
You like yes?... I hate ND... but State fans have been increasingly obnoxious saying they were going to roll through to our game.... after beating teams that have a combined losing record.
September 24th, 2017 at 12:43 AM ^
I was hoping for a tie.
September 24th, 2017 at 6:40 AM ^
That would have been amazing

We won the stats" thread. Hilarity ensues. Yeah, take away a pick6, fumbled TD on the goal line, and loaf of wonder bread over the shoulder from Lewerke and MSU pretty much won tonight. I wonder how many still feel good about their 7to9 win predictions?
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:47 PM ^
Yes. I am watching Staee suck some Irish dick right now. It's funny.

once they are crushed.
I am surprised ND is just letting them move the ball. Enough is enough.
September 23rd, 2017 at 11:50 PM ^
Michigan state just spiked the ball. It took three seconds off the clock.

This^

I would never, ever, ever wish for a player to get injured, but there would have been a certain fitting irony if Dantonio's petty "hurry up offense with the starters in down 20 with a minute left to make the score look better" bullshit had resulted in Lewerke tearing his ACL again on that low sack.
September 24th, 2017 at 6:42 AM ^
I don't wish that on the kid... and secondly how pissed would we be if Harbaugh just mailed it in? Not like that's in his DNA to do so. But Any ways I'd be alright with broken finger.. ACL injury is a bit much though
September 24th, 2017 at 12:12 AM ^
Honestly? No. Should I be?
September 24th, 2017 at 12:16 AM ^
I kind of like to see who were are playing next... I think Don Brown and Devin Bush are going to make Lewerke look pedestrian!
September 24th, 2017 at 12:33 AM ^
is garbage. Two weeks to prepare. Looking forward to a bloodbath.
September 24th, 2017 at 6:54 AM ^
Thank you!
Save and Send to Sparty friends... they were talking shit about how we are going to lose to Purdue and they would roll ND. Now who's got egg on their face.... errr that's not egg.
September 24th, 2017 at 7:03 AM ^
You're way too into this, man.
September 24th, 2017 at 8:24 AM ^
Or 12 years old, and hence the appropriate amount of into this.
September 24th, 2017 at 8:28 AM ^
Just feeling good after hearing all week we would have trouble with Purdue and State would "own" ND lol... but hey I'm honored to have received a comment from a Mgoblog hall of famer.
September 24th, 2017 at 12:52 AM ^
Also, the dorktonio's may be garbage, but they also sucked last year and look how close that game was. Strange things tend to happen in this game. Personally I am expecting a nail biter all the way down to the wire. Hopefully with us winning.
September 24th, 2017 at 1:06 AM ^
I'm looking forward to our defense shutting them down entirely and the first lopsided victory over Sparty in far too long.
September 24th, 2017 at 3:13 AM ^
Wasn't really close at all until the refs started picking on JD in the 4th quarter and gave them 10 points.
September 24th, 2017 at 1:16 AM ^
I feel confident that our defense will completely shut them down. I think our offense scores 24 to 28 points because we are still pedestrian on that side of the ball. 28-3 Michigan
September 24th, 2017 at 2:16 AM ^
...more total yardage and time of possession too..
..turn overs sunk them. If they play like that against us we will have a tough time winning 〽️
September 24th, 2017 at 2:20 AM ^
a lot of their yards came in garbage time. ND stopped attacking their defense and ran the clock at the end of the 3rd quarter.
September 24th, 2017 at 3:11 AM ^
Ha, states terrible. More like they'll have a hard time scoring. I think they beat Indiana and Rutgers and that's it. They can't run the ball and that QB is a walking turnover.
September 24th, 2017 at 8:24 AM ^
Did you watch the game or just read the stats?
September 24th, 2017 at 2:51 PM ^
But State was nowhere close to equal to ND, much less outplaying them. If you're looking at game stats, garbage time yards should be backed out. TOP also doesn't say much if the opponent is constantly working with a short field and getting chunks of yards at a time. State's defense was pretty abysmal, especially compared to what they have fielded in the recent past.
And their offense was just that. The biggest surprise for me was LJ Scott. The one good run I saw him have ended with the fumble at the one-inch line. Bottling him up is key. Lewerke can keep plays alive but suffers from horrible decision making.
The only thing that will keep the game against State close will be the hope on State's part to salvage their season.
