Announcement dates of remaining targets
Like many of you I am in recruiting withdrawal and need to get my fix. Our next commit is most likely not for a few weeks unless Gary or Nauta pull the trigger sooner which is unlikely. I've heard Sam Webb mention a few of our targets announcement dates. Jean Delance announces January 2nd and Dylan Crawford announces January 9th. Are there any other set decision dates for prospects out there as of right now?

Really, if you don't know by NSD where you want to go you might as well just flip a coin.
Seriously, I'd like to see a recruit do this one day (not one of ours of course). Show up on TV and say "I have no idea where to go. I'm just going to flip a coin and go where it says." It would be one of the great moments in 'crootin history.

I'd also like to see more recruits expose coaches for their douche-baggery. The stories Jadaveon Clowney shared were a nice start. More guys should do this:

At least Rashan Gary seems like a good guy along with all the talent he possesses.

Absolutely. His mother seems to have done a great job. I loved hearing the story Sam relayed on WTKA this morning about just how important academics are to her and Rashan and how OSU failed to present their case in that regard.

Both have their heads on straight, which was obvious from their visit in the Fall. My only caution is that it seems they both like to give positive feedback to the schools they visit. This is an important decision, and I can understand Gary waiting. I still feel very positive about Michigan's chances. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I hope he ends up at the best school for him, and that all goes well with the choice he makes.

"We'll just have to wait and see what happens."?
What the hell are you talking about?!?!?!?
EDIT: Just in case someone's sarcasm meter is broken - /s.

I think there are a lot of good reasons not to sign on signing day, even if you do know where you want to go. Brian and others went through this a lot last year with Michael Weber, when the RB coach who recruited him left the day after NSD.

How would Weber's situation have been better if he had announced before NSD? Either way, that coach would have ditched him right after NSD, or maybe even earlier if Weber had signed his LOI.

Hopefully, it's not Javier Bardem doing the coin toss!

It seems like it's not going to get much publicity because other guys will be committing on that same day. Unless Michigan isn't in the top 3 or 5, I don't think many people would bat an eyelash to his "top" list. Nauta named his top 3 yesterday, and even though we were included, it felt somewhat "meh" because we don't expect to get him.

Hopefully his recruiting knowledge is better than his DCC knowledge.

I read his best guess list but the very best part is that em0 is the first (and only to this point) comment on the article. Now there's a blast from the past.
