You gotta keep it in the box though. Hopefully they sent him two; one to play with and another to keep nice. I do the same thing with my Star Wars figurines from the 70's. My bedroom in my mom's basement looks like a museum! My online gf from Belarus hates them though but I have this feeling she's never even going to see them...

Ill freely admit I dont follow recruiting much at all...just seem pointless..I only want players who WANT to be here so I just assume thats how recruiting goes and I ignore all the other 3 star 4 star 5 star stuff and dont really follow..What I do care about is how  we rank nationally at the end of the day...how does this class look in comparison?

Some aren’t super happy with it but it has gained steam after the last 2 big wins of the season. Michigan is hoping to grab some good last minute surgers but also may lose a few commits/big targets. All in all last I heard sneaking into the top 10 classes is on the table but may not happen. Somewhere around there is fair. It is likely one of the most exciting signing days in recent memory.

M is in the top 10 pre-signing day and should finish there or close.

There is a big gap between number 8 class (247 composite) and the teams below so there is very little upward mobility despite the fact that many of the potential “late additions” - Sabb, Clemons, Moore are 4 stars that will rank in the top of Michigan’s class.

Good class imo - a bit light on top-tier “starz!!!”, but a lot of good underranked kids based on on late interest on many by the SEC and other Big boys  - Loveland, Dent, Spurlock, Graham, etc. were all low to middling 3-stars when M got involved.

Just my opinion but the stars seem kind of pointless the past 2 cycles unless it’s the top tier guys like Will Johnson.  Covid seasons made things really difficult.

Rod Moore was ranked 510 and is starting safety for the #2 team in the country as a freshman.  Seems like we actually have the staff in place to coach kids and help them develop to their max potential.

Looking like we are losing Burke to Texas and Henry is wavering. Hoping we can hold onto Burke at least, as it looks like most of the top 50 edge are signing today, so missing out at both really will suck.

Edit: Burke just signed with Texas

I'm pretty sure it was his dream offer. Probably not even 'Bama could've swept in and taken him.

And as a developmental project-type, not a huge loss. His risk was relatively high (Maintain athleticism with added weight? Injury history. &c.). Oh well. Hopefully Michigan can keep Henry. The transformative impact of a great edge guy has been the difference this season.

I liked his speed and agility on film, but I was worried about the fact I don't think I saw him actually tackle anybody, looked like there was a lot of lunging and tripping guys up.  It's going to be interesting if that follows him to college.

Would have loved to have seen Burke here at Michigan, but it was always going to be awhile, if ever, for him to blow up and it didn't feel like the sure thing that, say, Ojabo felt like.
