Purdue still making this game more interesting than I ever expected.
October 11th, 2014 at 5:51 PM ^
Well if Purdue can respond here and stay in the game... things will be interesting. MSU looks at least human in this game.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:03 PM ^
Well that didn't happen, did it.
October 11th, 2014 at 5:58 PM ^
...and those uniformz look pretty sweet today. All white with the light metallic green.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:02 PM ^
The Baylor TCU is the game to watch at the moment.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:04 PM ^
One with MSU/Auburn...one with TCU/Baylor
October 11th, 2014 at 6:08 PM ^
I'm out on a trip I lack this capability
October 11th, 2014 at 6:02 PM ^
Who agrees with the PI? I do. I'm sick and fucking tired of seeing defenses get called for little things yet offensive players able to do whatever they need for the ball. I dig it.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:03 PM ^
I agree with what you're saying. I dont agree with that particular call.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:08 PM ^
I mean, Gary is saying the defender had his arm up too!...well the receiver was the one who initiated contact, so of course the defender has his arm up, trying to get the receiver off of him, and the receiver initiating contact was really quite a nice push off for separation so I do agree and think it should actually be called more often rather than just seeing a defenders arm/hand on a receiver and assuming it's him who's causing the contact. Not that I'll change minds but...
October 11th, 2014 at 6:04 PM ^
They should've showed the replay in full speed cause you can see it a lot better full speed.
Could've gone either way for me.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:04 PM ^
Looked like the only reason the WR had separation. It's funny listening to Danielson whine about it though.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:04 PM ^
If Oregon can finally beat Stanford that schedule looks pretty good.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:04 PM ^
October 11th, 2014 at 6:06 PM ^
CBS comparing Prescott to Newton. Newton has a great arm. Prescott not so much.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:07 PM ^
However, that particular call was bogus to me. Didn't see enough contact either way to warrant a flag, that looked like typical handfighting to me. That could literally be called on every play.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:06 PM ^
I wouldn't mind having Purdue's offense.
I can't believe I would ever admit to that.

MISS State dowsn a ball on the one inch from the goal line

MOAR COWBELLS
October 11th, 2014 at 6:12 PM ^
Just wanted to waltz in here saying DUKE upset Ga Tech - a previously undefeated team.

October 11th, 2014 at 6:16 PM ^
42-10 Ducks. Oregon putting up some style points.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:26 PM ^
State taking over in the second half
October 11th, 2014 at 6:26 PM ^
And ND is down by a point
October 11th, 2014 at 6:27 PM ^
Anyone watching the State game? Right at the beginning of the 4th the Purdue QB fumbled and on the sideline the trainer was rubbing the outside of his pants with something. Anyone know what was going on there?
October 11th, 2014 at 6:27 PM ^
Just hurry up and run the clock out so the Michigan game will be shown on ESPN 2 as scheduled please....
October 11th, 2014 at 6:28 PM ^
Watching UNC move the ball with ease against ND fills me with contempt. Dammit.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:32 PM ^
does not look like a top 10 team. I doubt any B1G team makes the playoffs this season.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:33 PM ^
I am completely enjoying watching North Carolina play defense against Notred Dame.
Golson getting absolutely killed. Penalties all over the place on the Irish.
Irish fan shitting the bed.
Until the refs manage to screw over North Carolina it's enjoyable to watch.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:33 PM ^
What sort of bullshit call is that?
October 11th, 2014 at 6:36 PM ^
Illegal contact to the snapper is a head on rush to the snapper as opposed to trying to hit the gap. I believe he gets a free second before he can be hit.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:37 PM ^
This looked very, very suspicious to me. That is all.
Gives ND a 1st down...odd coincidence
October 11th, 2014 at 6:44 PM ^
I didn't see the play. But yeah, in HS, no touching of the snapper until he moves. College they have one free second and I think pro they are free game.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:34 PM ^
If ND had played this way against Stanford they would have been blown away. They always save their shitty games for the best possible time.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:39 PM ^
On 4th & 18.If I didn't know any better I'd say ND is getting a friendly whistle @ Home
October 11th, 2014 at 6:39 PM ^
Saban blew one there...whoa.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:40 PM ^
That was NOT a good fake punt. Not a good call. Not a good time. Not a good place.
Not like it matters. MSU will probably pick on an INT here within 3 plays, but still.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:40 PM ^
Spartans go for fake punt and fail. Purdue down 14 and will have the ball on the MSU ... 30... something. I don't know tv is in commercial now but they'll have good field position :)
October 11th, 2014 at 6:42 PM ^
What's the deal with an ASST Coach on MSU wearing a Red/White MSU cap? Odd. Google didn't provide: anyone know what special gear that's for?
October 11th, 2014 at 6:47 PM ^
It is usually used so the players on the field have an easier time locating him for play calling purposes.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:47 PM ^
ah thanks!
October 11th, 2014 at 6:42 PM ^
I can't get over the nut hugging from the announcers on the ND game. Well, that and the officials having Notre Dame in the pool.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:43 PM ^
Don't really understand the need for a fake punt against Purdue. Might as well save a play like that for a meaningful game, especially this deep in your own territory. Now Purdue is in business (not that they'll win, but it is a good performance) and with eough time to make this interesting.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:45 PM ^
TD purdue. Making it interesting.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:45 PM ^
That Purdue RB was about yeeeee close to a 15 yard taunting penalty.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:45 PM ^
Purdue Running Back just destroyed Hicks.
Hicks got creamed.
Damn.
Then trash talked after the fact.
October 11th, 2014 at 6:47 PM ^
October 11th, 2014 at 6:48 PM ^
Dantonio makes some real dumb decisions in game. Also Cook has thrown like 4 INTs today but Purdue dropped 3. Would have been an upset.
