This is what happens when teams aren't used to winning, though. Too many mistakes for MSU. I think they will hold on, but they still haven't learned to stay focused once they get ahead.

Not sure I would say that. Auburn turned it over early and MSU capitalized. MSU turned it over after that and Auburn couldn't capitalize until they started a drive at the 20. I think MSU is the better team and if not for turnovers I think they would be up about 17-3. Auburn's offense hasn't showed anything in this game and their defense has mostly picked off really bad throws by Prescott.

yep, my guess as well. I'm forgetting what the SEC was like in '97 if Peyton did in fact win an SEC title that year but I'm venturing a guess he did. Tee Martin obviously did, so.
