Drinks are in order after today's episode of As The Harbaugh Turns.

Truman's Goddamn in my glass. From Loowit Brewing of Vancouver, WA. Whiskey barrel aged ale comes in at 10%. Great graphic on the can of Harry Truman giving Mt St Helens the bird.

Incidentally, Wisconsin vs Illinois are playing on BTN right now and it is a tremendous game. Tied with about six minutes left and the first half. The winner takes sole possession of first place in the big 10 with a nine and two record.

A tall glass of Ryan Day's tears, knowing he has to face down Jimbo for another few years.

Also because it's totally gonna mess with Ryan's makeup and that takes hours to get just right.

I save the Pappy for special occasions. Tonight.....cooler heads prevailed.  JH stuck with his heart, he entertained NFL offers and decided that the grass wasn't greener.   Hail to the Victor's. Those who stay will be champions. G O BLUE.

La Fin du Monde bomber. Bittersweet evening for me as part of me hoped this fanbase got what it deserved, but sometimes you don't get what you want, you get what you need.

Watching the Wisconsin/Illinois game, very entertaining back and forth!

Been getting into single malt Scotch as of late. Sipping on Springbank 10, just a touch of peat, splash of water really helped it open up.

If Campbeltown Scotch's aren't on your radar, they should be, vastly underrated and lesser known region that is now really coming to the forefront. Check out the aforementioned Springbank, plus Longrow and Glen Scotia distilleries

This evening? Well with snowmaggeddon upon us, I called off work at noon. Waiting for the snow and bummed about Harbaugh to the Vikings, I poured some bourbon around 1. Then the snow hit and before shoveling it was time for more bourbon. After snow shoveling, I see Harbaugh is staying. More bourbon, more snow…this is a good day, a very good day,

I got 3 kids, 1 toddler, 4 dogs 1 6 month old golden retriever and 1 6 month old cat in this house while my wife is doing a late shift working at home. I'd love nothing more than to have a drink but water for me.

Got my new glencairn glasses in Monday.  So: 2 pours John J Bowman single barrel, one pour 1792 12 year, and capped the evening off with Elijah Craig barrel proof. Yes, reasons to celebrate.
