WTF quote from the article....

"eating the fruits of a blue-chip recruit"

What fruit would that be, blueberries is too obvious, maybe mangoes, oh wait, I bet it is pomegranates!  Great fruit, little messy to peel and eat.

“A school that’s playing high-level football. Like, always in the good bowl games or the playoffs,” he said. “I also want to go somewhere that I’ll get a high-level degree that is going to help me later in life.”

By that criteria Tennessee, Rutgers ,BC, South Carolina, and Florida St will  obviously get cut. Maybe WVU too?

“Clemson definitely stood out a lot ... They also play seven to eight DB’s on the field at one time, depending on the scheme."

Interesting, I don't remember seeing that Clemson had gone to a 3 lineman, 0 LB, 8DB set.

We laugh, and the point is funny.  But to be serious, it looks like Michigan is heading in that direction - the same direction the Ravens went a couple years ago.  Not specifically 7-8 'natural' DB's, but probably 4-6 DB's and a few hybrid types that are bigger but still quick enough to drop into coverage playing LB spots on the field.

It’s looking like a stellar and potentially crowded DB class.  We have two 4 stars already.  Then you have Gould, Johnson, Rowser, Tatum.

We need the depth but this could get interesting.  I’m sure I’m missing some names.

“Clemson, Penn State Rutgers, Michigan, USC and Notre Dame are recruiting me the hardest right now,” he said. “I’m going to cut my list down to a top six this month and decide sometime before August.”

Based on the fact that he mentioned exactly six schools in the first sentence, I'd wager that he just named his top-6.
