where ever that guy coaches it rains five star recruits. LSU, Alabama, with the exception of MSU but he wasn't there long enough to really get his feet wet. Also that fence around Ohio seems to be getting rebuilt. Or we just aren't going to recruit Ohio very hard or try to jump a fence built with free cars and no-show jobs off campus.

There is something very flattering about that though, what it tells me is they have to cheat to beat out UM for recruits because UM is a finer institution to get a scholarship at. If OSU is ok with putting Tressel in their hall of shame lets face it those truck driving fans could care less how they beat out TTUN for recruits or wins. A real classy school. Mississippi, need I say more.

My brother is on his team and I've watched him play a few times.  He was a major reason they put up so many points against teams.  He had some amazing catches when I watched.  Their high school (Independence) pummeled everyone they played including the team in the state championship.  He was originally committed to Purdue then decommitted after receiving an offer from Vandy and it took off from there.

1.  I always like saving space in the class for a couple of late bloomers/'we really like your senior film types" as guys develop at different rates and this allows for some balance in the class.

2.  I moved down to the Nashville area in August and in addition to the SEC split of Alabama and Tennessee fans here(along with sprinkled random other SEC teams), there is a LOT of M, OSU, and <sigh>MSU paraphenalia here.  GM has a plant in Spring Hill that brought a lot of Michigan natives south and the Nashville area itself is growing like gangbusters.  So it's a growing population center in a football mad region where there are likely to be a lot of people friendly to Michigan.  If nothing else making recruiting inroads here is probably a good idea and if this offer is the start of that, more's the better.
