2015 Playbook
As I'm sure many of you are aware there is a certain poster on this site claiming that he has a copy of the 2015 playbook.
This poster, not a player himself, claims that he received the book from a walk-on player, and has posted in several threads thus far. He also offered to, and ultimately did, disclose a little information from the book.
I'd like to think that I speak for the entire board when I say to anyone that has confidential information of this nature when I say...

This thread is not pointless at all. Hopefully this thread alerts the coaches to this issue. Both you and your friend have some life lessons to learn.
Punishing your friend makes for a good teaching point for years to come on protecting confidential information. It also teaches a lesson on carefully selecting who you can actually trust.

you are obsessed with me, I'm actually quite flattered. Your job must be really boring, at least my kids are taking final exams right now and I have nothing to do. But really though, the fact that you took time to create a thread about me and have continued to track my every move on here speaks volumes about you. I've never understood the point of coming on the internet to call other people "tools" and "douches," especially when you are in the process of insulting other people for not having lives. That seems a bit hypocritical.

Its really quite easy, he wouldnt be a tool or a douche if he wouldnt have tried to act like the student crossing guard or teachers pet ratting on another kid in his class, that makes you a huge tool in most people's book, hes probably in the police academy and takes everything way too seriously. It wouldn't have been such a big deal if you had said "My bad. I didn't realize this would be such an issue."
Instead, you went on the offensive and started fighting back, despite the fact that almost literally no one was supporting you in your argument. So maybe you should take that as a clue, realize you were a little off base, and then back off.
Clearly, you haven't admitted the problem yet, which is why you dredged up this thread several days later.

Again, I doubt Mad Hatter would have blasted it all over the site if you had responded differently. And furthermore, I could be wrong, but I don't think he even mentioned your name when he posted the thread. To be honest, I had no clue that he was referring to you until you inserted yourself into the conversation in his thread.
P.S. The only time I've actually tracked down your past comments was when you said you would be returning to lurker status...and then immediately came back to comment some more.

I did not mention Mr. Pick's username in my OP. And it is also correct that I would not have started the thread in the first place had he just stopped talking about it after the initial backlash he received when he first posted it.
My guess is he's a teenager that just doesn't know any better.
And Pick, I'm not a cop, or a rat. You did a stupid thing and got called out for it. Nothing more.

the point of reading all paywalled recruiting sites and "rewording" their evaluations to post on your own site. But based on the amount of free time you have (note:responding to me over and over, periodically tracking my posts so you can downvote them (7th grade girl drama level pathetic)), I'm not sure you have anything better to do than self promote on a free blog. Your TTB site is straight regurgitation of other sites. Whenever you make an argument or try to "evaluate film" its a joke to me and other actuall coaches who know the game in and out. Guess I shouldnt really be surprised at any of your internet actions.
So here is your chance MAgnus, what are your credentials for recruit evaluation and TTB? Are you a coach? Did you ever play football? Or do you just pride yourself on researching everykid out there? What qualifies you for what you do? Serious question, please respond...

as in spy vs spy you covertly leak this info thinking the enemy trolls will pass on this info and the good guys can then exploit the situation. Somehow it's simply ridiculous to imagine any circumstance where players have not had the importance of protecting the contents of a team playbook imparted to them by the coaching staff.

The "playbook" is probably not a book at all, most likely on iPads or the like.
Stealing the playbook seems like something out of a Marx Brothers movie. Is there really some 3-ring binder out there marked "Playbook"? It's 2015, shouldn't it be, like, some sort of Adobe vector graphics file or a set of .mp4 files or MS Word or Excel or AutoCad or something?

I've got the playbook too guys. There are QB options, HB passes, and WR reverses. There are also slant routes, seam routes, comebacks, post routes, and dig routes. Did I name off as much generic football terminology as I can yet?

Umm, actually, I went back to this kids orignal post and he only had one post where he didn't really say anything of substance, mainly just offered to look into things if people wanted. I think people are being a little hard on him. I agree it was not the smartest thing to make that offer, but short of posting actual pics of the playbook, there's probably nothing this kid could divulge that would be of any value to opponents. Every B10 coach has watched tape of every Harbaugh play since his Standford days. An internet posted talking about there being option plays is completely meaningless.
The problem that I see is that he was doing something that could easily lead to his friend getting into trouble with the coaches and his teammates. I don't think they'll be concerned just with the actual damage done.
It's the height of foolishness to think that the news of such posts here wouldn't get back to Schembechler.
