Happy with this over another freaking 10pm time slot on a work night. We got those two tourneys in a row for week 1 matchups prior to last year.

Either way I’m happy. Taking Friday off for the tourney, and love that I get to take that whole day’s worth of games in, stress-free.

Works for me:

a) Retired

b) 9:15 start in Tucson, the town that time forgot

too early to go to the magic kingdom, but I’ll get by.

Getting what is effectively a home game as 11 seed is great and as an added bonus, the tip is at 10AM MST for CSU. I was expecting us to start at like 9PM per the usual.

In my 1 undergrad year at Wyoming, I pretty quickly figured out who the main rivalry was - and it's the CSU Rams just across the border in Fort Collins. I was there when Wyoming was in the top 25 in football & the bball team beat top-10 Utah with Keith Van Horn. Good sports year.

Both Wyoming & CSU benefit from the altitude (Laramie @ a whopping 2k feet above Denver), so typically enjoy some sort of home-court advantage when employing a running style. In Indy we should have a more "level" playing field, but I would still expect CSU to be in better condition for a running game. Just offering this nugget without doing any research into this year's CSU team. But an undersized team will typically run more.

Always love a "nooner" and on St. Patty's Day, no less.  Just gonna pretend I went to Ashley's at 7a, and all the hours blend together in a hazy, joyful blur.

Thanks for the reminder of the time zone difference!  (an hour earlier as advertised but in Central Time)  That reminds me of M's opener in Indy a few years ago, also on St. Pat's Day and in the afternoon.  A victory against Brad Underwood and his Ok State friends!

It is the day before spring break at the school where I teach. We are having an incentive day for kids. The activity I am in charge of is "movie room." Guess what "movie" they will be watching at 12:15?

Perfect start of the tourney, as my friends and I get together yearly for opening weekend.  (Although if the game goes poorly, the disappointment drinking will make surviving to the last round of games may be questionable...)
