...because that's just what we do when we conquer Spartie!

Nice win at The Joe, 2-1 over MSU.  Just as age is more or less just a number to Red Berenson, posbanging is more or less what what we do while our Michigan hockey team celebrates a win over State by singing "The Victors" in the JLA locker room!

I'm not a huge fan of hockey, but I am a huge fan of Michigan, of Michigan victories, of beating that worthless excuse for a school, and of banging.  Therefore, I accept the invitation to bang.

I'm so damn proud and happy about this team. They FINALLY showed the fire I've been looking for for weeks.

PDG getting the GWG is a perfect ending to Rivalry at the Joe.

Just some quick stats

  • Michigan bumps the all-time series lead up to 20 again, with the 146-126-19 record.
  • Michigan has beaten state 3 straight times, and 6 of the last 7 in the Rivalry at the Joe game.
  • Michigan has beaten state 10 of the last 16 meetings dating back to the 2010-11 season.
  • In the 50th all-time overall meeting against state at JLA, Michigan got the win.
  • PDG gets the game winning goal. For some reason, he always comes up big against them. During the broadcast they said he had something like 11 points in 9 games against them coming into tonight, I believe? Outstanding.

Kick their ass tomorrow on the road like Beilein's bunch will Saturday night.
