Video Of All Varieties: EMU
So, it's Eastern and I haven't turned up much except this, but when there's this you don't need anything else. This:
BONUS: Thanks to the Ann Arbor Observer for being willing to share their photos from the Eastern Michigan game under the MGoBlog photopool. These are CC-licensed sideline photos that can be used by anyone for non-commercial purposes with attribution to Eric Upchurch. The full gallery:
The Observer says Eric will be on the sidelines for SDSU; future availability is on a game-by-game basis.

At the end of the highlight video someone put "Apparently this is called a 'field goal' and is worth three points" I laughed

I couldn't resist doing that. Seems like it'd been so long since I'd seen a Michigan field goal that I'd forgotten what it was.

I enjoyed it immensely

Sometimes I notice that Denard runs with the ball in the 'wrong' hand. I'm loathe to assume he's doing something wrong here, so is this better viewed as a 'tell' for his intended running direction?

I loved being there for the third time this season, but it's sad that I can't make the Big House again this year. I need y'all to represent and make some crazy noise to make up for that in the future. I really liked the slide show and the sweet replay shots. I especially liked the "coaches film" angle. Any other shots that are vertical like that show the blocking set up and the run fits better. Jake Ryan will make one big play in every game this year. Book it.

3:45 in Parkinggod's highlight video was my favorite play of the game.

Was wondering where she ended up.

I really hope my wife can shotgun beers like that when she's that age.

Again, I'll say those pictures are pretty nice. I'm going to say that you were standing pretty close to me for a couple of those.

Are you going to be at the game this weekend?
September 19th, 2011 at 12:00 AM ^
Me? No. I got my field pass through an Eastern blog I am doing photos for. I would love to parlay getting a field pass at the Big House more regularly but it looks like it would probably only when Eastern plays Michigan but you never know......

I didn't add a caption, but that picture with Denard, Devin and Borges was actually pretty funny. There was a song playing over the PA and they were dancing to it. They were trying to show Borges how to do the dance and also get him to do it. He didn't oblige them. He was having none of it. You could tell that he was trying his best not to smile. I just thought it was funny.

Seriously if I poured out a bottle of Bud Light and filled it with water it would taste stronger. Props to the Grandmas for throwing down, though.

Working hard on getting 100 points... until then, I'll post these where I can. Here's a wallpaper for the SDSU game:

I'm a fan and now hooked to your wallpapers. I especially appreciate you having them out on Monday so I can have them on my cpu all week.
I don't know how to get you points, but let me know what I can do to help!

Thanks! I've been reading posts for a couple of years, but have just recently begun posting wallpapers since monuMental was taking a break... I'll get to 100 eventually :-) Until then, I'll make wallpapers for the non-rivalry games (monuMental said he was doing those) and mysteriously post links to them on someone else's post with an apology to the OP.

Why is there no video of the time CRAIG JAMES KILLED 5 HOOKERS WHILE AT SMU. Oh wait, that says EMU, not SMU. My bad. This is clearly not the place to watch videos of the time CRAIG JAMES KILLED 5 HOOKERS WHILE AT SMU. Moving on.

Allegedly.

On this picture of Denard:
You can just about make out the plays on his wrist band.

There's not many images of receivers turning up around here.
Anyone else get the feeling, at least from the BTN broadcast, that Hemingway wasn't a happy camper without gettin' the ball??
September 19th, 2011 at 11:53 AM ^
I tried to get shots of receivers catching the ball but it seemed like I couldn't figure out which one was going to get it. I got a fairly decent shot of the one going over the goal line, but I was too tight on his face and you couldn't tell what he was doing. I got a couple of Gallon after the catch. Ah well.

Receivers just weren't a big part of the day. I'm not calling you out.

That play by Kovacs on the goal line is ridiculous. 100% heart and effort. That play may go unnoticed by most people, but for me, that's been on of the best "effort" highlights I've ever seen.
Bravo Kovacs.
