Special game - dominated one of the best teams in the country! Go blue!

So I guess the game wasn't on Saturday, it was actually tonight.  

That was the most "I didn't see THAT coming" win since ... maybe ever?

I don’t mean to brag but before the game, I wrote that Michigan should hit lots of 3s, and Purdue should miss lots of 3s, and if that happened, Michigan would win. 

I’m such a savvy analyst.

That being said here is to Hunter, Eli, and Houstan all going off from 3 with added 3s from Johns, Twill, and Bufkin. That is the only recipe I see for a win.
 

There is no need to check any other comments i made on this game. Trust me. 

That was enjoyable

I hope the great 3 point shooting continues through the remainder of season. May be we will make the tournament and be a hot team heading in.

Death from Above

If Eli Brooks was in NBA Jam tonight he would have been on Atomic Fire...Boom shakalaka. 

The game was great, outcome was better but damn, that pic is iconic.

Purdue is clearly a good matchup for Michigan - played them super tough at their place, and thrashed them at home!

I think this Purdue team is really good, but they don't play great defense, especially on the perimeter. That's a huge help for us, as our 3-ball shooting is MUCH better when uncontested.

For the second game in a row, Hunter forced their bigs to defend him outside - to no avail. Raining threes!!!!

Go Blue - huge win! Well done boys!

FUN FACT: From the time when Purdue led Michigan 22-10 with 11:46 to play in the first half last Saturday, Michigan outscored Purdue 142-124.

This is a phenomenal win. It sets up Saturday for a huge game. We beat OSU, we are clearly off the bubble and just have to take care of business after that. 

That was fun! Good work Seth. It is this that caps off games like this for me.

I got a bit hyperbolic on the Twitter. I still think this win was very meaningful (not the best win EVAR as I did last night). Beating a top 5 team with a gimpy Center is really impressive. While Purdue did not have its A+ shooting game we did stop some runs. 

Hope to build from it. A Win Saturday, March 1, and then a Sweet 16 run and I am more than elated with this team. Not a banner season but maybe we are ascending at the right time.
