OT - OSU recruit Chris Carter
OSU proving, yet again, that they keep it classy. One of their recruits, Chris Carter, is in a bit of trouble with the law.

Actually, this story is hilarious.
Edit: It's not the fact that this individual did something disgusting that makes this story hilarious. It is the fact that OSU is associated with negative press. I didn't think I would actually have to make that delineation, but there you have it.

Are you saying OSU should have known that he would fondle these girls and declined to offer him on that basis?
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:18 PM ^
No, I'm just saying its awesome everytime OSU looks stupid.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:20 PM ^
Like you with posts like this?
We all hate OSU, but com'mon. This is extremely inappropriate.

Kids were fondled (allegedly). If Al Queda did this, would it also be awesome?
I mean, come on man.... fuck.

If this guy winds up being your tailor, you turn and you run!
What a creep.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:18 PM ^
This story is not funny at all.
Fondling 15-year old girls is funny to you?
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:23 PM ^
The story isn't funny.
What I find funny is that this in no way shocks me when it comes to OSU. No one's saying sexual assault is funny (I hope no one is). It just seems like par for the course for OSU though...

Thank you.

"Actually, this story is hilarious." says the OP. I disagree.
This story is about girls underage girls being inappropriately touched by an older boy.
February 2nd, 2011 at 1:04 PM ^
When I stated that "this story is hilarious," I did not mean the content of the story isolated to the fact that this kid groped and fondled minors. I meant the overall fact that a story that included more negative press towards OSU AND of one of their target players doing something completely unclassy.
I understand that in the past we have had Michigan players do very stupid things that have come out in the media, but is it wrong to chuckle at tOSU when something negative happens to them, whether they were heavily involved or not?
More likely than not you and I are going to disagree on this article and what may or not be humorous about it, but I respect your opinion and I understand how my words could be interpreted differently. Happy Signing Day.
February 2nd, 2011 at 2:45 PM ^
Enough. This is stupid. How was OSU supposed to know this would happen?
You can't pretend to be all "classy" by posting a bunch of classless crap about something like sexual abuse.
Let's try to keep some perspective.

Carter is an adult.

I may have misunderstood JBE, but I think he's saying this would've been funny if JBE was a 14 year old boy. Just a guess.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:23 PM ^
It's not funny at all, but people used to get married at 13.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:28 PM ^
How is that relevant?
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:40 PM ^
I think he was going for something along the lines of
"It's not funny, but did you know a manatee can hold it's breath for 20 minutes?"
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:43 PM ^
everyone gropes, everyone fondles.
Kid's a creep.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:20 PM ^
you wonder how many customers actually went a long with it.
Reminds me of Joey's tailor from FRIENDS.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:21 PM ^
Suspend him for 5 games but allow him to play in a bowl game....whoops...sorry that's another bunch of idiots.
Maybe he'll get a 5 practice suspension, unless he's in jail, of course.

that OSU pulled this guys scholarship...

fml, wrong carter

You do remember we had a starting defensive tackle who used to stand out on the Diag waving his dick at every passerby he could, right?
I don't know what the pervy equivalent of glass houses would be. Maybe a crib constructed entirely out of inflatable ladies? I don't really know, but I'm sure you get my point.
February 2nd, 2011 at 6:18 PM ^
That was just the naked mile.
February 3rd, 2011 at 4:23 PM ^
The pervy equivalent of a glass house is a glass house. What you do inside the glass house, now, is where the distinction occurs.

No one got hurt, and it helps girls think twice about being told to take their clothes off because they were randomly called on to do so. Wouldn't the ROTC just need a general size from the girls (i.e. small, medium, large) for their uniforms anyway? Guess never underestimate the hormones of a 17 year old boy.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:44 PM ^
You are lucky that negbangs don't actually work yet....
February 2nd, 2011 at 1:33 PM ^
Sexual battery of underage girls is categorically not funny.
February 2nd, 2011 at 3:30 PM ^
This is just an incredibly stupid response. The report I read said one girl undressed, not eight, and that he tried forcibly to undress others. Whatever happened, let's not blame the girls for a really sick and pathetic trap an 18 year old kid is trying to set.
I certainly hope he loses his scholarship over this. If Tressel doesn't take a stand, he and his program are as corrupt as the scummiest rule-breaking SEC programs or USC.
February 2nd, 2011 at 12:55 PM ^
I have to admit, I chuckled a bit. These girl are very naive, a random guy tells you to take of your clothes and you do it? I mean c'mon! Out of 8 girls, only one refused? They're 15, not toddlers, and while it was a disgusting act, they should've suspected something was up if someone was asking them to take their bras off just to take their measurement. A school wouldn't allow a male student to do this! The youth today, sheesh! I'm technically a youth too, but this is just extra stupid on both sides. Did he think he would get away with it? He kept a log of it and everything!

Until OSU goes 8-4, or 9-3, so the NCAA can drop the "USC" hammer on them.
February 2nd, 2011 at 1:24 PM ^
According to the article, the dude's 6' 5", 350 pounds. Imagine what a 15-year-old girl would feel like being confronted by a man that size, in a confined secluded area no less. I hope they throw the book at him.
February 2nd, 2011 at 1:58 PM ^
Hopefully he loses his scholarship.
