Nobody new on the "out" list, just the guys who have been expected to miss the entire season for a while now.
Among the rest, Junior Hemingway is a shocker, as I don't recall any serious injury against Wisconsin and Rich Rodriguez didn't say anything about him this week. It's encouraging to see the rest on the "probable" list, as most of those guys had serious-looking injuries against the Badgers (and Mike Martin's injuries have been recurring). Craig Roh and Darryl Stonum have said they wouldn't be missing this game for anything, so it's no surprise that they're likely to play.
It's also encouraging to see Taylor Lewan's name isn't on the list, as he didn't play last week, and has apparently been given a clean bill of health.

I understand the team runs on dilithium, but I didn't know we could turn back time.

This can't be good for "the game" karma.

I was hoping we'd get to redo that game. Because every time I watch the first half on DVR the same thing keeps happening.

Ha, whoops. Fixed.

So on a sidebar post Henniger is injured (allegedly) and will be held out of tomorrow's game. If that is true then why submit injury reports at all because he's not listed here. I don't think they are mandated to do so (unlike the NFL) so why on earth tip your hand prior to the game? And if they aren't required do the coaches play "liars poker" with the injury list to try and mislead the other team on who's going to play and who's not?
Can anyone shed some light on this one for me?
November 25th, 2010 at 10:08 PM ^
Henniger? You mean Hagerup? Or RS JR Will Heininger who's been out since Spring?
November 25th, 2010 at 10:09 PM ^
Will Heinenger has played in the last two games.
November 25th, 2010 at 10:36 PM ^
Really? Man I'm out of it. Thanks for curing my ignorance
November 25th, 2010 at 10:09 PM ^
Heininger played last week against Wisconsin
November 25th, 2010 at 10:17 PM ^
Yes Hagerup. Sorry - turkey + wine + fat ass on coach watching football for 9 hours = F up.
Edit: So can anybody answer my original question on the injury report itself?

Rodriguez said Hemingway had concussion-like symptoms earlier this week IIRC. I thought Demens had the same issue, but he's not on here so maybe not.
November 25th, 2010 at 10:09 PM ^
Indeed. I had read, as of yesterday, that Kenny hadn't yet passed his concussion tests

Stonum really had my worried. Visually his injury play looked bad. Then the talk of the boot. It is amazing what our great training and medical staff can do when paired with one tough hombre like him.
November 25th, 2010 at 11:14 PM ^
So does this mean we may get a decent dose of Fitz??? Please say it's so!!
November 25th, 2010 at 11:24 PM ^
but I've come to accept that with the return of Lewan, our chances are slim of seeing a Huyge-Cox combination on the field saturday

The WR situation could get dicey this week...it's unfortunately similar to the tailback situation for last year's game.
If Hemingway/Stonum can't go or can't make it through the game, we're down to Stokes and Jackson as true outside receivers.
When Odoms went down there was talk of Terrence Robinson taking some snaps on the outside but I haven't noticed that actually happening and he's barely played at all since the non-conference schedule.
I suppose Ricardo Miller could play as well since he already blew his RS on special teams?
Either way, we're going to have to do a lot of damage on the ground or in the slot if we're going to move the ball effectively it would seem...

"Junior Hemingway is a shocker, as I don't recall any serious injury against Wisconsin and Rich Rodriguez didn't say anything about him this week."
I remember Hemingway acting as if he was having trouble with his vision after a play. It looked like he may have just been poked in the eye at the time... I was hoping anyway.
I thought Jackson looked pretty good last week FWIW.

I'll remove it if you let me take some more for the private stash.

Is with all the concussions? If Stonum and Hemmingway are both out, we're seriously in trouble.
EDIT: Who negs this comment? Seriously, please post your reason. Crap like this pisses me off to no end.
November 26th, 2010 at 10:19 AM ^
Maybe they negged you for you misspelling Hemingway.
November 26th, 2010 at 11:45 AM ^
I just negged you for complaining about getting negged, which violates the first rule of MGoPoints.
Actually, I didn't. But I could have. So no complaining. You know they aren't worth anything, right?
