Why is Brandstatter whispering in the Denard interview?
October 7th, 2010 at 7:07 PM ^
awkwardly aroused by being around the dude he has man crush on, like most of the Michigan fanbase would be interviewing Denard.
October 7th, 2010 at 7:57 PM ^
Well I wouldn't be whispering but halfway through the interview Denard would say, "Mr. Burgundy, you have a massive erection."
October 7th, 2010 at 6:47 PM ^
Sounds like Brandstatter's voice was digitally slowed down haha. Creeper.
October 7th, 2010 at 6:51 PM ^
he leaves interviewers voices behind him as whispers
October 7th, 2010 at 7:30 PM ^
Musta used one of these. "Credit card? You got it!"

HI KIDS WE'RE HOME EARLY
October 7th, 2010 at 6:51 PM ^
Did Brandstatter say "Gameboy numbers?!" What decade are we in? And yes...Brandstatter sounds made for a horror movie.
October 7th, 2010 at 7:30 PM ^
You are giving him one too many decades worth of credit. I believe he referenced "pinball numbers" before the Gameboy.

October 7th, 2010 at 8:35 PM ^
if he referenced Virtual Boy.
October 7th, 2010 at 6:57 PM ^
Must be nice for Shoelace to have LB in JR at 6'2 225lbs playin WR to throw to lol.
October 7th, 2010 at 6:58 PM ^
Exactly. Brandstatter lose your bedroom voice when interviewing Denard!!
October 7th, 2010 at 7:19 PM ^
If thats his bedroom voice, I'm scared for his wife's safety.
October 7th, 2010 at 7:20 PM ^
At first I couldn't tell who was interviewing Denard, it sounded like a 2nd Grader.
But I think for someone who announces games, he just had a hard time adjusting down to Denard's restrained speech level.
October 7th, 2010 at 7:33 PM ^
At least Denard was smiling and laughing, if not, the creepy voice would be way worse.
October 7th, 2010 at 8:01 PM ^
Brandstatter: Do people ever say you have "gameboy" numbers?
Denard: What's a gameboy?
October 7th, 2010 at 8:09 PM ^
The creep-factor is at a 13 on a scale from 1 to 10.
October 7th, 2010 at 8:14 PM ^
.... How ironic is it that the most injury-prone guy on the team won the Iron Man trophy?
October 8th, 2010 at 2:12 AM ^
I think Fitz is taking over that tag on the team now. We can only hope that he gets healthy quick so he can break out against a tough opponent like JR did
October 7th, 2010 at 8:26 PM ^
Brandstatter for Halloween.
October 7th, 2010 at 8:41 PM ^
Denard definitely wanted to say that Martavious would eat his dreads, but didn't. Humble guy.

Odoms actually beat Robinson and Woolfolk in a footrace:

is my new favorite. The last catch was epic in the crowd at the IU game. Here's to a new found mind-body balance and synergy that keeps JR healthy and in the flow since we need him to keep coming though in conference play.
Om nama shiviya.

every time i watch a denard interview it finishes and i realize i have this huge smile on my face. If it's contagious to me through the internet, despite creepy brandy's weird whispering interview, i can only imagine how contagious it must be in our locker room.
I AM SO F'N JACKED FOR THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!
Ok, just had to get that out

It is impossible not to love denard. Such a humble kid. This whole teams likeability it off the charts.
October 7th, 2010 at 11:58 PM ^
And can anyone get enough of Denard's smile? Show of hands. Nobody? Okay, moving on.

I understand Rodriquez cares about nothing but winning football games and breaking whatever NCAA rule he can, but why does he have to recruit these types of kids?! I don't think the righteous, upstanding school to the Northwest would ever get these types of kids for their program...and look at their success since RR was hired. The seas are shifting my friends. I fear for our beloved UM. Rodriquez is going to do irrepairable harm to our University and Footballers if we don't do something soon. Watching those videos just confirms my greatest fear. Bo/Mo/Lo are probably rolling over in their graves at what has become of us. Change is needed, Les is more, we need to act soon. Go Big Blue!
