It only says that Michigan may be losing ground in recruiting Zettel. Not a big thing. Dumb headline.
that is not even close to being an "issue".
Apparently Rich Rod is connected and being accused of causing the oil spill in the Gulf, and most recently in the K-zoo river.
Turns out Rich Rod was on the grassy knoll.
As Julius Caesar lay dying, he asked Et tu, Rich Rod?
Everybody knows that much oil can only come from the skin of Lane Kiffin.
Oh crap--if that was our supply of snake oil, recruiting may be about to slow way down.
You never know when it comes to recruiting.
I'm in the same boat. I was worried but when I came to MGOBLOG there was no mention so I'm guessing there's nothing major. Hopefully just a sad tease by ESPN to get some subscriptions to their patheticly greedy pay to read" Insider club.
Although ESPN does manage to maintain its status quo in that department.
Bill Kruelik is an asshole. There are no two ways about it. He is completely biased. Zettel said to him that he will not be making a summer decision. Something the kid has been saying for awhile.
But Kruelik puts his personal slate that this is really bad for Michigan and just shows how Michigan State is dominating in state recruiting.
His assumption being that Michigan won't be very good this year, and because of that Zettle, Arnett, and Thomas, 1, 2, 3 in the state will all be Green.
If there is any justice in the world Michigan will stomp an undefeated Ohio State team this year. Fucking 1968 all over again!
kurelic really is worthless in recruiting
...shamelessly biased. He has no business working at ESPN (which is supposed to be impartial). He should go to rivals or scout. It really is ridiculous.
impartial? what about espn is supposed to be impartial, they generate their own headlines, page clicks and ad revenue. He fits in quite well at espn imo, which is quite sad.
I don't want to lose to OSU by a score of 50-14.
I was typing fast b/c I was angry after reading that ESPN post. My bad. Neg away. I deserve it.
No need to neg, sir. Let the anger flow!
so 1969 would be even more exciting.
And may the last two seasons do the same for 2010.
"Hey, I heard that Michigan might be losing ground with a big-name recruit."
"Oh yeah? I bet we can get a bajillion page-views out of it... watch this!"
*writes headline*
"Woah. That's brilliant!"
This is hardly an issue. It'd suck if he went elsewhere, but with what we've been dealing with the last 2 years, this isn't even close to a dong punch. It'd be like a dong flick.
Ummmmm ciszew....We don't want another 1968 Michigan-Ohio State football game.
My bad I meant 1969. I just typed to fast because I was angry. I should be neg'd b/c I f'd up!
We almost had that two years ago. If it's all the same to you, that's more than enough for my tastes.
EDIT: No, you're fine. Don't let this get in the way of a good rant.
ESPN didn't even list us in Dee Hart's top 5 during the GK telecast (they did have Colorado State listed though). Take it FWIW, ESPN recruiting sucks....
say that I would agree with each statement on here 100%. That is why I am a member of of Blue society that shares information intimately with one another. Why do I need to go to any other site. My fellas in here got me covered. Nuff said! Lets Go Blue!
Make their name off bullshitting and praying that they are 30% right.
seen that he has work to do, I don't know that he is ineligible right now
