OT: CWS can't spell Ohio
To be fair they were using the picture of the flag carriers running out in the wrong order as their source picture when they were constructing the banner.
That photo makes the unfortunate assumption that OSU fans can, in fact, read.
It's because the flag should be viewed from the other side...
Wait...
Nope. That guy's just dumb.

That's beautiful.
there an OSU flag at the College World Series?
1966 National Champions. I assume there was probably a Michigan flag there as well, but it probably wasn't messed up like this one was.
Gotcha. That makes sense.
9 out of 10 OSU graduates polled couldn't find anything wrong in that photo.
The 10th one said: "You know what's wrong with that? A girl should be carrying that, not a guy..."
Anyone know where to purchase one of those? I'd love an Oiho State flag!
It's bad enough they screwed up making the flag, but apparently they didn't even notice and trotted it out onto the field like nothing was wrong. Classic!

isn't that what you say on Cass Avenue after midnight?
would have fun with this one.
Terrelle Pryor would too, but not the same kind of fun. He'd think it's awesome waving it around.
"oi, ho!" Sounds more like the 8th dwarf, Kvetchy, heading off to work.
oy hooooo!
oy ho.
oy hooooo!
oy ho, oy ho, vhat's vith all this singing?
It's THE Oiho State University
Whoever printed that must be from Ohio.
they're definitely from Oiho.
these flags were made in China.
Works on a couple levels.
on # 28!!!
All teams were required to provide their own flag.
The University of Oiho State?
"OHIO" in a mirror looks like "OIHO"
So they didn't misspell "OHIO" so much as spelled "STATE" as "3TATZ"
Post graduate OSU English students, or second graders in any other state...
With 5 minutes before we were supposed to walk out on the field they open a big box with all the flags. I noticed the error right away and brought it to the attention of an overworked, overstressed woman who was in charge of coordinating the "parade". She just threw her hands in the air and said, "Just go with it!" - The flags were made locally by a small shop. There was nothing that could be done in time so we "went with it" and had a good laugh. I looked all over the net for about a month to see if anyone had snapped a picture or If ESPN had the video up but I didn't see anything... Until now. I have a picture of us getting ready to go out on the field if I can figure out how to upload it, or maybe I'll just make it my profile pic. :)
thank you for sharing! This made my Friday.
This is one of the funniest thread revivals ever.
