Michigan Bball Scrimmage - Tweet updates and story
For those interested in such things, in a scrimmage between Michigan's Starters and Michigan's Second Team, the backups just posted a 41-39 win in a 30-minute game at Crisler. Maize Team won on a 25-foot 3-ptr by Jordan Poole with 0.8 secs left.
Nick Baumgardner Retweeted Brendan F. Quinn
You'll all be stunned to know Jordan Poole reacted toward empty seats in the arena as if they were full after his big 3.
The scrimmage was attended by media and maize rage members. Coach Beilein focused mostly on fundamentals before the scrimmage:
"That's why early in practice Jordan Poole and Charles Matthews could be seen at midcourt. Both had their right foot planted as a pivot, going through a variety of triple threat moves, being sure to keep that foot secure."
Plenty of interesting morsels can be found in the story too...

I can see him being one of the breakout stars of the NCAAT who goes on to become a household name...
Kid has lots of personality to match his game...

logged in just to upvote you.... lmfao.....
He led the Blue team (starters) with 11 points and showed no ill-effects of his minor ankle 'tweaking'. This team is hungry!
I see it as we just have a lot of subs (that get playing time) and are hungry for more responsibility.

I have a few anonymous people who downvote many of my posts. In some ways, it is flattering that I am compelling, interesting, and/or threatening enough to them to feel the need to pay such attention my posts. It is not productive, though. It is also a little bit cowardly. Thankfully, level-headed people continue to appreciate my effort to contribute useful info and my own unique, pro-Michigan opinion.

I just figured (hoped) that it was accidental, alcohol related missing of the up vote arrow.
Either way, many of us appreciated the info. Thanks!

your posting seems fine, normal, etc. did you start out after a big trolling episode or maybe you started a little harsh and a few haven't forgotten/forgiven?
I have only been posting a short time and have been very active during this time. I have never been a troll. A few people tried to link me in with some other accounts early on b/c I was very active and was often the first to reply on a thread. I have disagreed with a few people, but no more than what is pretty standard. I am learning the culture a bit. I am not deterred by the haters. As a Michigan grad living out of state, I am accustomed to bitter and envious people.
Should get a nice sophomore bump,
He is not damaged goods. You have a Simpson whos playing lights out and needs to be in the game for at least 30 min. That only leaves 10 min for Simmons and Brooks. Simmons is a 5th year senior and finally starting to understand the offense. He plays decent on defense and doesnt turn the ball over. Brooks is gonna be clutch next season

that the team usually comes out of the gate slowly as well. Close wins, a strange loss or two (just enough for the rabble rousers to forget the past/complain about recruiting) and then roughly by the end of Jan. beginning of Feb. the bench comes around, the guys start to gel and they make a late season push for the top of the conference.
I think its just Beilein's offense is complicated and he evolves it around the growth of the players and their grasp, so it takes time for everything to meld together.

Leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
I re-watched the BTT games with a big ass smile on my face and really enjoyed hearing Grant Hill repeatedly saying how we have a bevy of guys that can create and shoot which causes massive match-up problems for opponents.
If we make it to the Final Four, we'd have 32 wins and I believe that would be the most in school history.
I'd love to see highlights. Letting some fans in is good for the fans and good for the players, I think. You need to do something to give the team "game intensity" and this seems like a good way to do it.
Fun to watch this maturing team play hard with good energy and chemistry for 40 minutes as they have done consistently over the last month or so.
doesn't suprise me. a team of teske, DRob, poole, ibi and simmons could easily have a good day and beat down the starters.
hell Drob and poole could get hot and beat anyone in the country.

They could never get a call
Where do they get the refs for this kind of thing?
They should hire Teddy V for one of these . . . and then beat the crap out of him while nobody is watching.
