Thank you.
Little known fact:
The International Tennis Hall of Fame is located in Newport, Rhode Island.
Rhode Island is neither a road nor is it an island. Discuss.
The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
Nebraska in 2015 was better than their record indicated. In 2016 they were worse than their record indicated. Most prognosticators have them going 6-6 or 7-5 this year.
Here's their schedule:
Ark St
at Oregon
NIU
Rutgers
at Illinois
Wisconsin
OSU
at Purdue
Northwestern
at Minnesota
at Penn State
Iowa
That looks like 4 losses minimum (OSU, Wisconsin, Penn State, and one of Iowa-NW-Illinois-Oregon)
They lose a couple toss ups and they're easily at 7-5/6-6.
Nebraska could indeed "blow up" this year, but given the projections, it would be more of surprise.
Drunk
Riley is recruiting pretty well, but I don't know if he has what it takes to beat the big boys in the league.
I beleive this is a spot-on assesment.
I think it would be great for Nebraska to be elite again, but theyre not. They've had substandard recruiting the last few years and coaching is still an unknown.
They coasted on historic success (insert ND & Michigan to this club on occasion) and they have more competition for recruits than ever.
Thank science they are in the "Kid's Table Dvision" of the B1G or they would be getting crushed every year.
They actually recruited really well at skill positions (save maybe RB), but their line recruiting on both sides hasn't been near as good. With some good development they can still pretty dangerous and have the potential to give anyone a scare on any given Saturday, but I doubt they will be able to be consistently good without recruiting some beter linemen.
they will be our guests in 2018. Let's make sure we have a special welcome in store for them.

The corn-holy trinity
The father, the maize and the holy meth. Amen.
...for better or for worse
I picture you doing your work commute bare-chested on horseback regardless of the weather. And you can't convince me otherwise.
Nebraska Sand Hills are my target place to view it. Hopefully it's not cloudy.

it was a dumb album. a nothing burger.
Nebraska has some of Springsteen's most chilling and poignant songs. The title cut is Sufjan Stevens's John Wayne Gacy two decades earlier - it gets me in the marrow. Used Cars hits you right in the gut if you've ever been hard-up for money. Highway Patrolman is simply great storytelling (especially since you get the counter-perspective in State Trooper). Atlantic City is, literally, pretty gangsta.
These, of course, are just my opinions. They also happen to be correct.*
*Arguments about whether music is "good" or not always amuse me. I think the point is whether an album resonates with you. Obviously a lot of people were put off by Nebraska - it was a huge shift in style, and back in the day you might shuck out $8.99 at Schoolkids and then be stuck with an album that was not what you expected.
But that's why Baskin Robbins has so many flavors. And you're not really a dumb album.
Schoolkids records. Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time.
It's incredible to think there was an independent music store able to afford to be on Liberty at one time. There was also one at the corner of State and Liberty, I think that one went out of business earlier, can't remember the name. Discount Records?
And just as crowded and awesome as ever.
How about Wazoo Records? Or am I the only one old enough to have spent time flipping through stacks of used records there?
Edit: Jesus, it's still open! I had no idea it had survived the onslaught of downloads and streaming. I am pleased.
I heard this old fart on talk radio try to say nothing-burger, but it came out as, "empty-cheeseburger." I've been using that ever since.
Don't have a clue what you are talking about. Without looking at their schedule I know they play Wisconsin and Ohio state so they allready have two losses on the season. They are not that good.
So its safe to say Rutgers was stopped by Michigan?
Rutgers was stopped by the fence.

If so, you mispelled the title of Springsteen's best album. The correct spelling is Born to Run.
(With Nebraska coming in second. These are facts - not opinions.)
Even worse, I just realized that someone beat me to the joke but I missed it before I posted. I'm almost as bad as OP. Almost.
Being beaten to the punchline is forgiveable. Putting Darkness on the Edge of Town over Born to Run? That's gonna take some redemption.
All I know about them is that they don't have any of the top 40 players in the Big Ten according to Pro Football Focus' PFF grades.
(edit) I mean according to MGoBlog's Draftageddon.
