The Michigan guard announced on Twitter on Friday that he will finish his college basketball career at Quinnipiac, a school in Connecticut which competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Somewhere Ace gently weeps...
one of the original bench mob stars. Ace will have to pour one out for him.
Neither is remotely in the class of Dakich as a bench performer. Also, one of them (Koenig) was more about self-promotion than basketball ability. Bossard was a pretty good high school player.
Good for him. That's actually a good landing place, and a good school.
For a kid that didn't play many minutes, he was a great teammate and one of my favorites. I wish him the best.

Here's one guy I'm really rooting for. I hope he has a great senior year.
I love how this worked out. He has a shot to play serious minutes now, after bringing it as a walk-on for four years and unexpectedly having to torch a redshirt twice to help us out when injuries wrecked our bench.
I love the grad transfer rule and this is absolutely the perfect use of it. This is not a guy who has turned his back on us; he is leaving with the blessing of the coach, the team, and the fans.
Michigan man.
The more I heard and saw from him the more I liked him.. Hes a Great Kid and I wish him the very best..
He probably wasn’t going to get much playing time at Sportscaster U (Syracuse), so there might’ve been only two other second tier D-1 schools that would’ve offered him both occasional playing time AND well respected graduate courses in journalism or media ventures – Boston University of the Patriot League and Quinnipiac of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, both schools better known for their ice hockey programs.
Wise choice in selecting Quinnipiac’s Masters in Sports Journalism.
Quinnipiac, coming off a 10-21 season with a 7-13 conference record, finished eighth in the Metro AtlanticAthletic Conference. They just made a high-profile hire, naming former Villanova assistant coach Baker Dunleavy (son of Mike and brother of Mike, Jr.) as their new head coach. Dunleavy added former Fordham coach Tom Pecora as his associate head coach and former Boston University associate head coach Shaun Morris as his top assistant.
He'll be going from a Wolverine to a Bobcat and from Nike back to Adidas, because Quinnipiac just did the opposite of what Michigan did (LINK), but the color scheme might be somewhat familiar to him.
