Hayes is sort of like DJ Wilson where he looks amazing for stretches and then disappears others.
This is his senior year, right? I swear he's been there since we had Manny and DeShawn.
I remember Hayes being so good as a freshman on the Wisconsin superteam a few years ago. He seems to struggle more as a first or second option than in that role.
How did the refs not call a foul on that clean strip?

That probably killed 99% of any remaining brackets. Most people probably had them making it to face Duke at least and a ton probably had them in the FInal Four or winning it all

Honestly, Wisconsin could easily come out of that region now. They should win the next round, I don't think anyone has any faith in that Virginia or Florida team.

I had forgotten Nova had a reputation as choke artists before. The national title looks like an aberration again, not a step in the right direction for their program. Now the 4th time since 2010 they've failed to get out of the first weekend as a 1 or a 2 seed

Duke is the scary match-up of the bunch but they could control tempo and out-shoot the other teams left.

I've got Northwestern in this one. They are undefeated all time in NCAA tourney play, I don't see that ending here.
Great win by Wisconsin and for the Big 10. Are the MODS off for the weekend? If this is the only 2nd round of the tournament thread we're going to use, then it should probably get bumped up.
