Bad FTs are keeping it close.

But these refs look like hot garbage. Every offensive contact initiated by MN into a straight up and down Wolverine is a call. Every defensive push on the body by MN is no call. A fair game and we're up 6 already.

I like Irvin even better when his confidence is so low that he's not even looking for a shot. You can sub Robinson in for him, but the dude is so slow he can't play defense. I know Watson is a freshman, perhaps it's worth giving him minutes regardless of the cost. Irvine seems to get worse by the game almost. It is almost shocking.

Here's hoping this game comes down to FTs.

I'd love to know what Duncan Robinson is supposed to do defensively if THAT is a foul.

Go with two point guards Walton and MAAR or Walton and Simpson instead of Irvin.

Irvin with ball there was almost fine, I don't get why he didn't continue to the hoop, he had a path and no big immediately there to block him eadily...instead he settled for that weak shit-shot.

For only shooting approximately 25% from 3, I'll take being down 2 at halftime against a top 50 team on the road. 

 

Defense is playing well enough to win if they can keep it up, just need better movement on offense and a few of our 3s to fall in.
