"My process on deciding to take the job and come back was about 18 seconds into the conversation."
I love this guy's enthusiasm!

If he had been coaching at Michigan State, it would have only taken 3-9 seconds.

They redshirt for a year while learning and bulking up. Moving a promising TE who's already been here for two years and was adamant about being recruited as a TE is quite different. I'd think it's highly unlikely to happen.

None. Wheatley is too fast to move from TE. And Lewan was never a tight end at Michigan.

More 1 back sets.
Less fullback.
Less giving the location of the play away.

I think that's what helped PSU go from garbage to decent offensively Over the course of the season.

1. The OL looks like with extra attention with elite talent on it, and
2. What the offense looks like with Pep and his love for deep balls and Frey with his knowledge of the RichRod zone read and Kevin Wilson air raid/run and gun offenses

and I love the last two years. Its been alot of fun. But that's the one thing I'm missing; an OL that is just crushingly dominant in most circumstances. Capable of forcing 1-3 yards when needed.
There were some games back in the 90's where it seemed, had the RB fallen as soon as he got even with the guard or OT, he still would have hit 3 yards.

I just needed to drop 2 seconds in my 40 and gain 150lbs.
