Another thing that caught my eye is the backround, is that supposed to symbolize the Michigan Union?

pretty unimpressive. Saving the good stuff for last! However, all the ladies have gone crazy for the M Leggings they revealed and I hope they sell out of those.

I would guess that the person doing the downvoting either is unamused with the criticism of the apparel or would rather that everyone take this discussion over to the blog's apparel subreddit - you know, the one that doesn't exist nor can in the site's current configuration. 

What I have seen of the previewed stuff so far is stuff I would pass on quite frankly, but I'll probably give MDen a look-see at the grand unveiling all the same out of curiosity regarding what we've yet to see.

my GF was going to buy me some M gear for Christmas last year and I asked her to hold off till this year because we were changing apparel companies.

I sure hope we're in store for some better looking stuff soon.

Think their saving the best for the reveal...At least I hope! According to Ira from the Michigan Insider the season t-shirt looks awesome. I did like that Nike polo they put out that's about it so far.

So this is what recruits allegedly like so much? This is what WD and all the other Jumpman/Nike disciples were clamoring for?

Personally not only do I NOT think this is a big improvement over Adidas I think it's worse - at least so far. Maybe the super-awesome stuff is being saved for last but to me this shit looks like the stuff I see in Toledo gas stations.

It's just not the same without the swoosh. The Jumpman is bogus. Also the designs so far have been ugly.

It's Tshirts and hoodies guys. The only logo that matters is the block M in front.

I like them both.  *shrug*  Seriously, I guarantee you that they'll have your "classic" blue t shirt with Michigan writtten on the front.  But some people like other stuff which is why they make full clothing lines and not just 1 t shirt, 1 sweatshirt & 1 pair of shorts.

Man, I for one hope August 1st never comes. These threads are a fucking hoot. "I don't care if I've only seen 6 of the 3,000 t-shirts Nike will offer, I want adidas back". "If this is the best and only blue shirt they are going to offer this deal was a mistake".

I mean, I think the commentary is more "why do all apparel companies make this ugly garbage?" than "Adidas was so much better." The Adidas templates looked like crap, too.

The real shitshow will be if the uniforms themselves suck. Or if, in time, they show the same quality issues the Adidas stuff occasionally did. I doubt they will, but if Nike sends up a lemon... Look out.

If it isn't Nike the only apparel company they can sign with would be Under Armour. I'm going to enjoy decade plus with Nike/Jumpman I have liked some of the stuff I have seen so far.
