OT: Bad Case of the Monday's
Anybody else have a case of the Monday's and a desire to not go to work today? The weekend flew by way to fast for me, and I know this week of work will go by slower than AL Borges on a treadmill.
What is it that Monday has that's bothering you?
I love Mondays (actually Sunday evenings for me). Fridays are my issue. I don't look forward to weekends until football season. I'm fortunate enough to love what I do for a living.
weirdo.

Agree. Who the hell has "issues" with Friday?
the same types who have "issues" talking to girls.

I trade the Forex market (Euro, US $, Britsh #, Japanese Yen). The Forex Markets open 5 PM Sunday and are open 24 hours till 5 PM Friday.
When I first started trading, an older experienced trader (sorta like my mentor) had told me that if I'm successful, I'd grow to dislike the weekends because the markets are closed. I really didn't quite grasp the truth in that statement then but now I fully understand it. Most daytraders feel this way.
here Bud Fox, you may love what you do and want to marry it, but most of the rest of us have genuine distain for our work and don't appreciate you raining on our parade of aggressive apathy.

So what value do you bring to society with your work?
there is nothng more or less valuable in what he does that what anybody else does, really, it has everything to do with perspective.
My main issue is the "pleasure" he derives from work. This cannot stand, work is miserable for me and it needs to be for everybody.

First off, my work schedule allows me to not only attend my daughter's many games/matches (soccer, softball, basketball and golf) but I'm able to coach her as well. I've attended every game she's had since 10 years old and now she's 16. Every school play, dance recital, athletic banquet and field trip as well. I know you asked what value do I bring to society so I say my family's value's (no pun intended) and ethics first and foremost. If my daughter isn't raised properly then I'm not only doing a disservice to her but to society as well. Wouldn't you agree?
Now for society itself. Most days I'm done by noon so this allows me time to volunteer at the parocial school/church my daughter attended a few years ago. A local church puts on a basketball clinic/season in winter that I've coached. I donate money for needy families during the holidays. When my daughter grows outta her clothes I donate them to the church instead of selling them at a yard sale. Our school has a giving tree during Christmas which we are asked to buy specific items (winter coats, boots, gloves, diapers, etc.) for needy families that I participate in. I live in a small farming community so with the money I make I'm able to help support our community. I buy the local produce. I just bought a new Silverado from the local dealership. I get loans from my community bank. I pay my bills, on time.
My trading allows me to have a freedom and flexibility that most people will never have. I'm thankful for that and I don't take it for granted so I give back as much as I can. So as for your question "What value do I bring to society with my work?" If you don't get it after reading this then you are as ignorant as you are condescending.
point in your day you have to rip off the working man, snort cocaine off a girl's ass, drink scotch with your feet up in the office and talk on your phone headset in the elevator though, correct? If these things don't occur than I have dramatically over-idealized your life.
I should have his job. It sounds a lot like being a socially acceptable compulsive gambler. I could get down with that.
I by no means am the "Wolf of Wall Street." I live a pretty subdued life. I actually left the Post Office (20 years in) to day trade. I did both for about 8 years but I came to the conclusion that I make more money trading in 4 hours than working at the PO for 10.

(Seriously, aside from the fact that it's in Cleveland, I'm boycotting the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame until the Bangles make it in.
Am I wrong to do this of course I'm not.)

I am envious. I am an avid homebrewer. Too bad I like my day job (and the money, damn money needed for things), or else I'd quit and brew fulltime. Have fun at the Craft Beer fest!

This has helped me. I was a lot like you when younger. I knew I'd need money to allow a retirement at 51 and allow me to do the things I wanted to do, but youi cannot become obsessed. I realized if I could just put together roughly 2.8 - 3 mil by time I hit late 30s, dream was mine. I managed that + a lil more, but actually don't think i could have if i had remained so hard on myself. Instead of saying, ""Got to have this much more this week, I just said what is there will be additional. Outlook changed, mood changed, money piled faster. Made me a better human being.
Many students fall trap into scam companies which put them at risk of poor academic grades or even discontinuation due to plagiarism. It is therefore important for students to have the skills of identifying a legitimate writing company. This is a challenge for many students because there are several online writing companies available in the internet today. A legitimate writing company only employs highly qualified writers who have attained university graduate awards.
A legitimate writing company ensures that its staff members are highly qualified individuals who have attained a minimum of second upper division in various fields of study. A diversified team of writers are able to handle the many needs of students in need of assistances in their various fields of study. High quality and authentic work should have the goals of every legitimate writing company. A company which gives work to student which is shallowly researched is not a legitimate writing company. It is better to go through with essay writing service reviews to understand which the best writing service is. You can also read reviews of different experienced customers. This is very much helpful.

Ah, this sounds like exactly what I need. Can you please post your cell number so we can talk about it?
I mean, you know you're dealing with a legitimate academic power when they let you know that they only "employ() highly qualified writers who have attained university graduate awards". Those standards will protect me - otherwise I might "fall trap into scam companies"
Thanks for commenting - "this is very much helpful".
