Not sure about Elliot. I get Harbaugh calling out Smith because Smith started it. The real sad fact is nobody wants to talk about how Harbaugh isn't starting these wars. These coaches and ADs think they are slick sub tweeting him and he has no issue with putting them in their place.

People are just mad Harbaugh got there first.

Harbaugh taking the shots and firing right back! But love the fact that not a peep out his players even more. He has complete control of his players and locker room.....unlike the school in C-Bus.

Harbaugh took a (hilarious) shot at OSU in his tweet to Gene Smith.  Did we expect the OSU faithful to not respond?

I love the exchange - OSU's our number one rival, and the back-and-forth is good for the rivalry.  I loved Harbaugh's tweet, and appreciate that Elliott responded with "scoreboard".  OSU should use that rejoinder while they can, because Michigan is on a strong upward trajectory and Ohio State is always going to be Tattoo U. 

And Jim Harbaugh does not like losing to anyone, especially OSU and the cork-soakers in E. Lansing who broke his arm as a player.  So let Elliott squawk for now - but the days of blowouts against Michigan are coming to a screeching halt.

Agreed, it's hypocritical to be all "Yeah Harbaugh!!" when he responds but be all "What a low class loser!" when someone from OSU responds.

It's good for the rivalry, the fans eat it up and both Harbaugh and Elliot probably grabbed a bunch of extra Twtter followers to build their 'brands'.  Hard to get upset by this.

I like that fact the JH ignores the comments of 20-something year old players and focuses his comments at officials of schools who should know better before making public comments that could be used against themselves. I keep remembering how Dantonio decided that getting into a public pissing match with a student athlete from another school (Mike Hart, if that even needed to be said) - true sign of class there.

This actually plays right to Harbaugh's tweet. JH says we will win and we will not cheat to do it. That's his main point. Zeke says we won and I don't care that we cheat or cheated. That's who they are and that's why beating them will feel so good.

I think all the back and forth on Twitter has been great, and quite hysterical. With that said, I hope Elliot gets drafted by the Browns. I can't think of a better way to never hear from him again.
