Kind of had a head start. He originally deleted the tweet but I caught up for the 5 seconds that it was up and had this thread ready to post.

Screenshot or it didn't happen.
(I kid our obsessive compulsive friend. Kind of.)

We SEC now. I will leave it at that.
January 13th, 2016 at 5:26 PM ^
You know this for sure?
January 13th, 2016 at 5:26 PM ^
Who knows? He may have seen the incoming recruits and balked, or he may not have had the grades. Regardless, I wish the best for the young man.

He would've come here if it was still an option on the table. But with the push towards National Signing Day, we may be looking at a 30 member class or close to it. Every scholly is at a premium. Expect attrition with some current players on the team and the camp circuit recruits.

But the reason he is not an option is not "Michigan just decided no."
January 13th, 2016 at 6:06 PM ^
Let me ask you something, do you geniunely believe he prefers Wake Forest over playing here?
January 13th, 2016 at 6:12 PM ^
January 13th, 2016 at 6:25 PM ^
I don't think anyone has said that. You're really reaching with your statements here.
January 13th, 2016 at 6:34 PM ^
Fair enough.
January 13th, 2016 at 6:59 PM ^
He may feel he has a better chance at playing with Wake Forest than at UM which I am sure thats the case. Now would he rather play at Wake Forest or heat the bench at UM? Think about it.

Jumping to conclusions rarely turns out well.

SEC would be signing him, then grayshirting one of the current DBs on the roster.

But inching closer. We stuck our toe in with RR, than went back to MICHIGAN MAN. I get it, hope the masses do!
January 13th, 2016 at 5:23 PM ^
do we just call him Patrick Scott now?
But seriously, best of luck to the young man.

Best of luck wherever you end up, Mr. Scott.
January 13th, 2016 at 5:26 PM ^
classy message though, I like his height. I hope he is successful in his endeavors unless he's playing against Michigan.
January 13th, 2016 at 5:29 PM ^
didnt realize this board was full of a bunch of softies.. you wouldnt last a day on harbaughs team.. holy shit! on to the next one!!!!!!!!
January 13th, 2016 at 5:33 PM ^
Phrase things better my man, you don't have to be a jerk about it.
January 13th, 2016 at 5:42 PM ^
it wasnt meant to be a jerk comment..
Good riddance:
An expression of pleasure on being rid of some annoyance - usually an individual.
I think its pretty clear this is a move the staff fully expected/desired, so in that instance, from the coaches perspective, I think its a pretty accurate comment... then again maybe im just an asshole LOL

This is a good time to stop commenting to keep from destroying the thread.
January 13th, 2016 at 5:50 PM ^
just be careful how you phrase things, it's a human being who showed a lot of class in his de-committment, we can show class too that's all I'm saying.

Dude. Just stop. It's a pretty accepted rule on this blog that we don't bash players or recruits. You don't know the circumstances of his decommitment. Even if he was pushed out, the kid was totally respectful and there is nothing wrong in wishing him luck in all his future endeavors. What you're doing is being a terrible human being.
January 13th, 2016 at 5:54 PM ^
I doubt the coaching staff took any pleasure in letting the young man go (or encouraging him to decommit, through a lack of contact or other means), regardless of their rumored desire to fill the spot with a higher-rated recruit.
Crootin, plain and simple.

is being a jerk without even trying. Congratulations
