What's the limit on EE? I know they can back date 3 to the previous class but is the total allowed based on not going over 85? If that's the case how many EE can there be this year?

They are not required to sign a Letter of intent. Once they sign the financial aid agreement they can enroll. Anyone can sign those papers early, but if they change their mind, they would have to sit out a year regardless if they ever attend one class.

I hope we redshirt him because it would mean we have at least two good QBs in addition to Peters.  It would be nice to see someone emerge from the Speight/Malzone/Gentry group as a viable option.  Or a grad transfer.

He's 100% going to redshirt -- he and his parents were told so early on, and are totally on board with it. Don't forget about O'Korn. He's the most likely starter, IMO, and from what we've heard. Personally, I hope we get Hill, and he is used in an untraditional/hybrid way along with O'Korn. Welcome aboard Peters! You're in great hands with coach Harbaugh!

It's going to be two years (hopefully) before he starts. Of course, this assumes that O'Korn is the starter for the next two years. Which, according to the dream I had last night where I saw O'Korn open the Ohio State game with a 79-yard bomb to Chession, is totally going to happen.

I don't think I have ever been this excited about a recruit EVER. I just see something that remindes me of Drew Henson-- maybe not the athletecism, but the natrual ability as a passer.

I'm not saying that I'd start a Brandon Peters cult, but let's just say I have some doodles involving robes and intiation related artefacts.... you know, metaphorically.

This may get a mixed reaction from folks...  But Peters' highlights on Hudl - his drop-back, stance, throwing motion, and release - kind of reminded me of John Navarre, but with more athleticism and quickness.  His ceiling is obviously higher than Navarre's was, but remember that the latter became a 1st-team All-Big Ten QB (coaches and media) his final year.  Looking forward to Peters' accomplishments by the time his own career here is over
