Anyone still opposed to bringing in Taysom Hill?

Because if O'Korn goes down Speight ain't winning them anything.

I don't care man. I just want these LBs to graduate and have us land Bush this year. Tired of seeing Bolden and Morgan missing easy tackles. QB is actually the position I'm ok with. O'Korn is being praised and I'm confident he will do well.

Rudock was AWESOME this year. But it sucks because he's not coming back and now we have to start all over.

I like the idea of having Rudock while we make the transition. But we better have a QB on the roster that can start for multiple years.

Remember when they increased the points needed to start threads. We should do that again.

We still have a bowl game in a few weeks. That is something we didn't have last year.

Because we need an injury prone guy who will play 3 games before sitting out the rest of the season. Yeah, I'll pass on that. How about we coach up what we have, play good football, and find LB who aren't incompetent fools.

All snark aside, I'd like to see him come here as a walk-on.

He wants to attend Harbaugh U. to improve his QB skills.  There is a tremendous benefit to him to do that.  We don't necessarily have to "pay him" with a scholarship.

After all, most people pay to attend Michigan to learn and postiton themselves for the future, not the other way around.

Let him come here on his own dime, learn some good things from Harbaugh, and help get the other guys ready to be the future QB.

I do not want to endure another season of "He's still learning the system and his team" for nine games. Let's hope we can start one of the many QBs who have an entire year of experience with the staff and other players.

First, I dont get the "still" part, as if QB play had anything to do with today's outcome.

Second, give me a consistent game manager over a basketball on grass-type player any day.

Third, yes, bring him in for the scout team for when we play mobile QBs.

Otherwise, no.

Yes, I'm still opposed. At some point we have need to look to the future. The only time we should play a grad transfer is if it will take the team to the next level. You are stunting the development and taking game reps away from the younger guys. I think we should let the qb competition play out with the guys we have and let the winner lead this team for the next few years.

At best, Hill is another 1-year replacement, but one who is up there in age (25), has an injury history a mile long, and would just further mess with the depth chart.

Nobody was winning UM this game today without a competent rushing attack.  The issues for this team are numerous, and QB is WAY down the list.

no need to lash out. Frankly I'd be surprised if anyone was against bringing Hill in here and let the best QB start, it worked pretty good this year. C'mon though, there are plenty of more pressing issues the team has to catch up to the Buckeyes other than if our second string QB is able to come off the bench and lead us to victory.

Getting another grad transfer is just putting a band aid on a broken leg. At some point you've got to trust the guys you bring in to get the job done.

At this rate, I'd rather focus on our OL, our RBs and our LBs. All those areas are much bigger needs than our QB position. Still baffling that our run game has been this bad for this long, and that our LBs are just as bad as they are.

Why should we have any confidence that a) he'd be the same player after 3 year-ending injuries in a row and b) that he wouldn't have another one of those injuries?

We need all the talent we can get.. and that doesn't preclude us addressing other areas of need.

I could see him as qb, rb, or some slot type receiver. If we had skilled players there we wouldn't need to run Peppers ragged.
