I use a gym on an Army installation in the D.C. area and typically it's never that busy. I usually go late at night after work and by then it's closed unless you have been coded for after hours access. Normally there is nobody there; however, occasionally there is a group that plays basketball.
Some of the guys play without shirts and go back and forth to the weight room. They'll use the benches shirtless then get up and do some poses in the mirror and walk back to the court without wiping down the bench.
One time one of the guys grabbed some paper towels but it wasn't to wipe the equipment but to wipe the sweat off of his face. He threw the towel towards the trash and missed walked over it and kept going.
I totally agree with your last sentence but you lost me early on with the OSU PSU transitive property scenario. I had a professor tell me that would be the only property I'd ever own. I learned from that, shifted fire and now I'm a better man with tangible property. We are down but certainly not out.
I just preordered a maize jersey and now I think I regret that decision. Not really keen on number 17. I'll have to call MDen and see if there is something I can do. I'm 36 and I probably have no business wearing jerseys to begin with haha.
Back when I was in college I used to bartend. I used to make my own simple syrup but I would infuse it with another ingredient depending on the cocktail. Mint for julips and mojitos, ale 8 for some bourbon drinks and even some fruit for some vodka and rum drinks. Just trying to be creative and offer something that my neighbors didn't have. It's really easy as long as you know how to boil water your all good.
Any chance that this was done in good spirit? You know, to try and rally his troops but no ill will. I don't know much about the guy, just thought he might have a sense of humor.
Kicking off police week in DC early. Finally sampling some local brews even though I've been here since July. Any DC people or even those in the know have any ideas what to try? Also anyone attending Police Week? This is my first one, I'm off Thursday and Friday, waiting to see if my leave gets approved for the rest of the weekend.
I was never a Kobe guy but I've always respected his game. The thing that got me was his recent contract, huge cap hit. That's what separates the way US pro teams do business over the European pro teams for instance. In Europe they generally pay you for what you can do for me now versus what you have done for me in the past. I'm sure Lakers fans will be happy to have that cap room to go out and work on building a contending team.
I respect Kobe as a player and I do think he is deserving of every kudos he has received. The man could really play when he was healthy. It was cool he could drop 60 as he left the league. Tip of the cap to Kobe.
I'm all for tradition but as far as I'm concerned Michigan Football's tradition is winning. I admired and loved what Bo did for the program and his opinion of start times made sense in that era. In the present I believe that a game or two at night is not only beneficial but a lot of fun for the fans. Playing at night is not a slight on Bo but just the reality of where college football is now.
I'm one of those guys that think every Michigan game is special but there is something about a night game that I really enjoy. The way Michigan has handled it so far is great, they really try to make it a big deal. I would hate the fact for Michigan to play at night it would be on someone else's turf.
Oh yeah, I also believe that Yost, Bo, Carr, Harbaugh, or any other Michigan coach wouldn't care what time the game is as long as the good guys win. Sure they may have their preference but I believe they are all big picture guys.
Hey folks, I'm in Arlington, VA and whenever the Wings are on here and if the opportunity presents itself I like to go out to the bar and watch. I have yet to see the Wings win this year in those situations. I think I'm a jinx. Sorry my friends.
I like him as a candidate, I think his experience and knowledge on and off the field works well here. I don't buy into the fact that he being a HS coach should be a detractor, you gotta start somewhere. Granted that's good jump up to a school and staff like Michigan. I think Harbaugh has a good eye on finding the right guy for a particular job.
If I can secure leave then I hope to go to the MSU and OSU games, if not it'll probably be easier for me to go to East Lansing if I can only make one. I'd like to go to Rutgers just for the fact it's not to far for me coming from DC. I missed the Maryland game because I was on TDY, I was looking forward to it being that it's my first year here.
Still no word if I can get out early Tuesday, at this point if they tell me it's cool tomorrow I'm sure tickets will be an issue.
I will tomorrow for the Michigan game for sure. This place doesn't even open up until 4! B dubs here (southern Georgia) has been very accommodating to us Michigan fans here on TDY.
Agreed. The SF86 is also tied to requesting agencies, it won't take long to connect the dots going over the documents and figure out who is who. Not only are they exposed but family and friends are now potentially involved and at risk. The Chinese know this and this is a game to them, they are just trying to prove they are the alpha.

I'm kind of burned out with law enforcement. I think doing PI work for Michigan would be a nice career change. One can only dream...

Who is we? I've read several articles on the details of his dismissal that cite "Per an *insert media organization* source". Who are these sources?
Great, much appreciated! Thank you.
I swear I age by a year with every Michigan Football game.
I'm gonna be sick

I just don't understand how people can let someone on the radio can get under their skin like that.
