Way OT: Tokyo Sexwale for FIFA President
You read that correctly. A South African businessman named Tokyo Sexwale is one of five men approved to run for FIFA's presidental vacancy in 2016.
I know we all love a good name on our MGoBoard, as well as a chance to mock the sport of soccer.
All hail president(ial candidate) Sexwale!

P.S. His name is pronounced "Sex-Wall-Ay", but in my brain it will always be "Sex-Whale".

I know why you thought of whale. The sex part is less clear.

I remember immediately texting my buddy when I saw on Sportscenter he announced his candidacy. I know nothing about him, and I (correctly) assumed it wasn't pronounced the entertaining way, but I don't care - he's got my hypothetical vote.

He was an anti-apartheid activist and was jailed on Robben Island with Nelson Mandela. He's been a politician and businessman since his release in 1990. Anyone who has seen The 16th Man, the 30-for-30 episode about the 1994 SA Rugby World Cup, will recognize him.
That doesn't preclude him from his share of corruption allegations...

Eh... no. That's some elementary school humor. Not that I'm totally knocking it. Some things are always funny... like playing the butt trumpet, for instance.

FIFA doesn't have a sense of humor.
