I, too, am watching the NBA. Baseball is....meh. That's one American sport's popularity I will never understand.

But then again, I like listening to Joe Buck and Harold Reynolds. So, there's that...

I used to have mini season tickets to PIstons games but I sort of lost interest in the NBA after that last player strike. Not sure why but I fell out of love with professional basketball.

Too much star treatment,,,
Officials have too much control over the game results now..
I kind of miss 80's and 90's NBA..

On a slow night if it's the only thing on I'll do that JUST FOR YOU! I like Van Gundy, sort of, but there is a real lack of "role model" type folks who play these days. I guess that is my real problem. Hockey, football and baseball you can always find some great folks playing. Basketball doesn't seem to have any of that.

God I hope the Royals lose.

You and me both...I hate KC from all the wars they've had with the Tigers.
October 28th, 2015 at 8:15 PM ^
Haha. Any particular reason? Not a Royals fan, just curious.
October 28th, 2015 at 8:58 PM ^
They're the upstart pricks from the Tigers' division.
October 28th, 2015 at 9:44 PM ^
Not exactly upstarts. But I get your point in a historical standpoint.

Dunno whether I want to keep watching Jahlil Okafor destroy the Celtics, Porzingis' debut with the Knicks or this...
hmm..
Maybe I'll tune in the 9th like I did last night. That was quite the game.

As an aside I just want to say that these Lincoln commercials with Matthew McConaughey are stupid as hell...or I'm too stupid to appreciate and understand!
Now THIS is an example of a good luxury car commercial....

When there's no football on ... yeah.

Someone please tell me why the Tigers ever got rid of Granderson?
October 28th, 2015 at 9:05 PM ^
October 28th, 2015 at 10:13 PM ^
Phil Coke and another relief pitcher who's name escapes me. All 4 helped the Tigers make multiple playoff appearnaces.
Granderson was getting expensive, Tigers had to cut him lose or risk not being able to sign Miggy and Verlander to long term deals.

LOL - "He's turned the batter's box into a Murphy bed - much too comfortable."

"These guys put on a clinic".
Royals know how to hit. Bottom of the fifth and they have only swung and missed on three pitches. Against a 95+ pitcher. Wow!

I'm no Mets fan, but this has to suck a day after nearly stealing a game.
