They have had ONE great season in the last ten years. In the last 8 years they have had ONE season where they lost less than four games. Every year they are around 8-4. This is what strong brands do I suppose.

I think you answered your own question. If it were strictly about results on the field, it would have been pretty tough for Michigan to recruit over a similar period.

this is most welcome news. It's all coming up Harbaugh

Trieu saying UM stopped recruiting him a long time ago. Looking like ND.
October 14th, 2015 at 11:07 AM ^
Is this because he didn't choose them the first time through, or because his spot has been taken?

Suprised how ND is recruiting Michigan so hard, especially after they declared the Midwest devoid of talent. All the talent is in ACC country according to ND.
October 14th, 2015 at 11:20 AM ^
check Kelly's resume. HC (with some championships) at Grand Valley State and CMU.
give back 5000 of your points for not knowing.
October 14th, 2015 at 12:30 PM ^
No one said the Midwest was devoid of talent. But you aren't going to win a NC with just kids from MI.
October 14th, 2015 at 12:38 PM ^
Nobody has ever said that. Why would you mention it?
If I'm a Midwest recruit I would not consider ND, especially after ND said they are no good.
BTW Kareem is no longer being pursed by Michigan. Hoping he commits to ND so Michigan gets Kemp.
October 14th, 2015 at 1:10 PM ^
When did ND ever say kids from the Midwest aren't good? ND has a ton of kids from the Midwest.
October 14th, 2015 at 1:56 PM ^
Don't think so. Please name them all.

I'm also asking the same for Daelin Hayes (and Donnie Corley apparently)? Go away Brian Kelly. Michigan kids should stay in Michigan.

October 14th, 2015 at 11:29 AM ^
Webb said that Hayes visited during the winter, but interest from Michigan has waned, and so has his. Says there's not a lot of film on him in actual games, because he's been injured so often, and Michigan couldn't go much further without that. Something Magnus has been hammering throughout his recruitment.
