Got out gained with 4 turnovers and still could have won the game on the road. Darn it!
Good luck in he bowl game. Can't wait.

We should find more game opportunities to 'grow' our back-up QBs. You get out of it what you put into it and I'm not sure it's ever been a strength of ours.
|1 year 9 weeks ago||Fake whistles, etc.||
I know it puts a sour taste in your mouth but I doubt we'd be talking about this if we won our game with them, or if they were in their conference already. I believe karma will come back to bite them before the season is over.
In the mean time I enjoyed the best 3 hours of my weekend yesterday.

If that call was not reversed it would have been the reason we won the game so I'm glad it turned out the way it did and the defense won the game for us in the end.

Let's go B1G teams - have a great tournie!
When we have even more of a bench available next year how does everyone get enough playing time to really build a deeper team with our style of offense? Just wondering.

Seemed like THJ let the game come to him more so than in past games. He played a heck of a game and it was a great team win. Thank you to the team for all your heart and hard work.

Jared....the big, little man.
Honestly, if you were having a pick up game of BB based on body language, would you take Jared from Ohio or Jared from Subway?
|2 years 5 weeks ago||Clutch = Points not just Moving Ball||
If clutch does not equal wins it should it at least equal points.
Since we were going to pass on all 4 plays anyway give DG one snap on second down. I like his heigth in this situation. Maybe do the fake-run jump pass that Tebow perfected. Yes, I know...DG needs to earn that goal line snap by consistent decision making when getting his early snaps but I like the idea of mixing it up. Go Blue!

I'm sure some of the students point of view is conflicted by their age to some degree and their life experience. For example, they are not parents, or they were never abused. They have the same tunnel vision that PSU leadership had. At at some point later on in their life they will look back at this sad event with a whole different perspective.

Good article from Wojo regarding re: Penn State scandel
Scandel time-line link from Sporting News:
Extract: "Early 2009—An investigation by the Pennsylvania attorney general begins when a Clinton County, Pa. teen boy tells authorities that Sandusky has inappropriately touched him several times over a four-year period."
I would also like to see an investigation time-line. Not likely. Did it really have to take almost 3 years to bring charges? Wierd how it marries up with 409. Does moving paper and doing interviews really take that long?
I thought with age would come wisdom and with the abuse in 1998 and 2002 could someone in leadership not see the bigger picture. Especially with the relationship of the accued to the Second Mile Program which should give anyone the creeps. Why would you not think this is not a huge, huge problem that would only get worse.
|2 years 6 weeks ago||My Point||
It appears football wins and the culture of the PSU program was placed above the law. I find it facinating that this long standing abuse becomes national news just after a time where one of the most significant milestone in college football coaching is achieved. It's too coincidental. Did it really have to take this long to come out...I don't think so.
|2 years 6 weeks ago||Very Sad||
Joe Pa gets the all time wins record and this story now blows up. There's a lot more to this story. Just say'in.
|2 years 7 weeks ago||Ho Ho Ho||
The int for PSU that wasn't an int when they were fighting for the ball and the non-call on the obvious head shot. Just say'in.
|2 years 7 weeks ago||Big Picture||
I like the fact that Gardner is getting snaps because it's helping him develop and it's making our offense more diverse. You may not see it now but down the road you will also get a great play from Devin in the offense that will be one of the 6-8 plays that change the game. In the future when Devin is the primary quarterback I will be happy knowing the young man has some valuable game experience to help him succeed early on.

To the poster that mentioned the Coaches didn't admit to making mistakes...that's not going to happen and should not. The standand line used for that is 'out coached' whether true or not, and that's all you'll ever get. Rightfully so. I believe we were all hoping the game would go down to the wire. A few more plays on the last possession towards that end would have been nice. It's all about learning and growing so here's to the next game and improved play. Go Blue!

Live to play another down.
|2 years 9 weeks ago||Backwards Pass||
We should have jumped on the ball like it was a fumble or tried to return it. We played the whistle and treated it as such and therefore missed a great opportunity. I bet you don't see that happen again for a long time.
|2 years 9 weeks ago||Backwards Pass||
We needed to pick it up and run with it and treat it like it was a backwards pass not like it was an incomplete pass. Unlike a fumble/recovery the whistle doesn't mean anything. Lesson learned. Won't happen to us again for another 100 years.
