Friday boozing thread

Submitted by UM Fan from Sydney on

I got home a little bit ago, grabbed three Octoberfests, and poured them in my giant stein. Fuck it! I'm staring early. I also threw Denard '14 in the 360 and continued my dynasty. Let's go.

EDIT: I originally posted this as a diary. I'm sorry. Thank you, acnumber1.

Just had a Bell's This One Goes to 11 (i.e., batch 11,000). Have been aging it a couple years and decided to finally give it a go. Excellent brew.

NY strips on the Weber.  Cab to round things out.

Not too much though.  Swineapple (!) tomorrow, and the game starts here at 10am.  With a 4-hour cooking time, fun starts around here at 6 or so to make halftime grub.

I'm in New York and the bodega next to my apartment just starting carrying Oberon, so lot's of that. I'm probably responsible for 90% of their Bells sales.

Miller Lite. Down visiting my family in southwest Florida. If you're in the Fort Myers/Naples area, highly recommend visiting Duffy's sports bar.

So many tvs, above average beer selection, and excellent sports bar food. Have every NFL and power five football helmet. We got the booth with the beautiful winged maize and blue helmet and the silly bass boat silver/red helmet tonight. I was unreasonably pumped about where I was sitting tonight.

Having finished my blue moon seasonal pack, now on to yuengling. I'm excited to watch the end of this fsu/bc game. I was previously watching boyz in the hood and that's a movie that puts you in a quite the mood. Anyways, BC needs some offense here. Good start with that first down scramble and solid completion right there.

Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. Left over from Christmas but so hoppy tastes almost as good as the day I bought it. Each year I swear I will buy less since I seem to have some left over when it goes on sale again, but every year when I see it at Costco in those red cases I buy 7 or 8.

in a sobriety check lane. I was on my way home from work and was not drinking. The sheriff deputy asked if I was drinking and I said no. Then he took his flash light and went around my car. He asked for my license. He found a small crack from a rock that hit my windshield on the passenger side. I got a ticket or fix it where I now have to replace my windshield in a month or get a $500.00 ticket. It is a small crack but I suppose $200.00 is better than $500.00. I guess this sort of torqued me off being an innocent citizen who got stopped for no reason! No LEO would ever had pulled me over while on the road for such a small crack!
