Do you see Peppers in wildcat formation this year?

I just hope we're not putting too much pressure on the kid to master both sides of the ball. But I trust in Harbaugh to not put too much on his plate.

...how would any of us know if Peppers will play the wildcat? I'm pretty sure 100% of the board agrees that he's athletic and talented enough to do it...but how in the world can we answer that question with any kind of insight?
That's like me saying, do you see Peppers taking a reverse this season? Well, I mean, he could...
Are we just supposed to put on our swami hats and look into the future?
I dunno, I probably shouldn't let these bother me as much as I do...but this just stupid. Back to my composite "viewing schedule"

I must say, the schedule this year is 1,000,000 times better than last year. Where's Alum96? He and I bitched until week 6 last year about there being no good games/matchups.
They're all over the place early in this season! I can't wait. I left off many games that probably would've made "best games of the week" last year because there were so many better options - I also left off a bunch of B1G games (the B1G sucks this year to be honest, it's OSU detroying everyone except maybe VT, Wisky/Bama, Oregon/MSU, and then the Michigan games for me).
Sidenote to my sidenote, I'd never call it now, but we may be back to Big 2, Little 10. Michigan is going undefeated (joking, but in all honesty, I just studied our roster and if we can get by Utah, we've got a better shot to be undefeated going into the OSU game than people realize) - Anyway, the B1G is the worst of the Power 5 this year to me, it's OSU and that's it...similar to the ACC last year with FSU. I really don't have any interest in watching the B1G outside of the big games and Michigan games.
Kind of agree, but isn't the point of the board to talk about Michigan football? That's pretty much all we can do a month out is speculate about the season.
But asking questions no one can even remotely answer with any type of insight isn't smart.
It's one thing to be hypothetical, it's another to just make random questions up like this thread.
It would be one thing if this board featured a bunch of posters involved in the offensive gameplan. But how the hell will anyone know if Peppers will run the wildcat?
Like I said, 100% of this board thinks he's capable of it - so it's just a matter of being a psychic and predicting if the coaches are going to call it. That's what this thread is asking.
There's a huge difference between talking about Michigan on a Michigan blog and this, IMO. It's not that big of a deal, but what is the OP expecting? Drevno to log in and say yes "why yes, yes, we plan to use Jabrill in just this manner this year!"
Just me, but I think a better question for this group may be "if you were Harbaugh, would you use Peppers on offense? How much? What position?" or "do you think Peppers will be used on offense? How much? What position?"
At least those can be answered. No big deal - just my opinion.
Now commenters will be free to respond with whether they think he'll play a different position and not be shackled to only answering whether he'll be in the wildcat. Free at last...
Team is out to sea. Under the sea. Whatever. Same with the post meant for nothing more than to stimulate responses and comments. Lord forbid.
Get off my lawn

I don't have any sources.

Note - he took exactly 0 snaps on offense in spring.
Also if he does do 2-3 plays a game on offense I'd rather it be where there is a lot less traffic out at WR rather than getting poleaxed by 300 lb men in the middle.
If he is up to it he should be used just as fellow sophomore Adoree Jackson of USC was used last year as a freshman. That is split out wide, when not playing CB and not returning kicks.
Jackson made quite an impact on defense, offense and special teams as a first-year freshman cornerback, wide receiver and returner/coverage man in 2014. Overall in 2014 while appearing in all 13 games and starting 10 times at cornerback (at Stanford and then in USC's last 9 games) and once concurrently at wide receiver (Notre Dame), he had 49 tackles, including 4 for losses, 10 deflections, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery on defense, plus 10 receptions for 138 yards (13.8 avg) with 3 TDs and 1 carry for 5 yards (5.0 avg) on offense and 23 kickoff returns for 684 yards (29.7 avg) with 2 TD and 2 punt returns for 12 yards (6.0 avg). He was used as a 3-way player in 8 games in 2014 (the first 4 and the last 4).

New staff, needs to learn defense first.
Peppers basically said himself that when Harbaugh got to Michigan they hadn't taked about it but before he left for the summer, Harbaugh mentioned it but without any detail.
Sounds to me like by the end of the spring, he was definitely on the radar and he's now ready to play offense if/when approached.
That doesn't mean he's going to be in the Wildcat, but I wouldn't let ZERO snaps in the spring be any indicator that he's not going to play offense some this year.
Now if he doesn't take snaps in FALL camp on offense, then I hear you.

I'm thinking redshirt for him.
The staff needs to figure out if he is a QB or TE.
I will say he would be a huge mismatch at TE in the red zone. Kind like Joe Faria(spelling) with the Lions.
One of the most effective plays with Denard was his faking a run, then throwing a quick pass. If Peppers can do that, great, but that's a lot to ask.
I would expect to see Gentry in the "Wildcat" more.

I would love to see that. However, it would also be nice to see Gentry get a redshirt.

I didn't say a thing about my points. However, saying something like "trust me" when you just signed up and you already have -13 points is probably an indicator that we have no reason to trust you.
