Battle 4 Atlantis?
So either we're fighting something called 4 Atlantis, or we win an underwater city that probably doesn't exist.
A true win-win.

You've never heard of the place? It's a huge hotel/casino complex in the Bahamas. www.atlantisbahamas.com. They are the host for this tournament.

Sarcasm on the internet is hard to decipher. That's why we use the "/s".

I don't know. I watch a lot of "Octonauts" with my kids so I believe there are a lot of sea kingdoms to explore.
and the Neverland Pirates.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that his comment was sarcastic. But I have been wrong before. The complex looks beautiful. Would really like to visit one day.

That's a winnable game, but I like the name recognition. Beat them and it'll be a decent feather in the tourney cap.

Is the layout of the bracket based on the listing of the games, i.e. would we play the winner of Charlotte/Syracuse (so, Syracuse)?
That Charlotte loss from two years ago still annoys me.
The overall layout of the bracket - right down to the the "W" and "L" paths - seems to combine the best elements of Sorry and Chutes And Ladders too, so there is that if any one of the basketball games gets too tedious. Not sure what the rules would look like, of course.
I was thinking Flowchart...because I am old and my soul belongs to The Man.
But I bet this was made in Visio.

How good is Uconn? Looks like they took a 5-star PG this year and a 5-star SG last year. Not sure if that will change things up, but seems like they lost to a few of our common opponents last year like SMU.
It always seems like a crap shoot with UConn. I think they will be pretty good. Their center, Amida Brimah, is a guy who could blow up into a lottery pick, and should be a realy good challenge for Ricky Doyle early in the year.

I want to play Syracuse in that second game. Payback for Tyus Battle.
Uconn and then hopefully Syracuse in the "Battle over Battle"
Best four teams are Gonzaga, A&M, UConn, and Michigan, so we ended up with a tough draw (as did UConn). Not sure why we're not playing Charlotte or Syracuse in the first round instead, maybe they wanted to sneak a more marquee matchup into the first round.
With how the bracket's set up, it looks pretty important for us to win that first round game against the Huskies. There likely won't be a chance for a redemption win on the first round loser half of the bracket.
all teams weve played recently..would LOVE to face the other half mostly teams we havent played recently...if we meet Syracuse wouldnt this be 3 straight years weve played them?
Most of my friends went to UConn and are really annoying when UConn is good. They couldn't believe Shabazz Napier (essentially a poor man's Trey Burke) fell to 24th in the draft (when in reality he might have gone undrafted if the Heat weren't trying literally anything to get Lebron to stay, and he had said he liked Napier).
We better not lose this game.
It is a pretty common format, but is at its worst when the initial seedings aren't great. If you have the best two teams facing off in the first round, one will end up 1st and the other 5th.
You also get a 1-2 team in 4th place and a 2-1 team in 5th.
Just wondering...
