There was Bama talk for some days leading up to his announcement. Plus we were trending down while Alabama was the defending champs.
With King, we have no on-field momentum to help our case and there has been zero chatter on the Michigan front. I actually think that the only people who include us in his final grouping are Sparty slaps so they can rub it in our face when he commits.

Hope he enjoys 4 years of East Lansing. It's a wonderful place.
no kidding. I did my undergrad at WMU and live in EL and our campus in Kalamazoo was so much nicer than MSU.
I hate to base my opinion on fans of a school based on experiences that conveniently fit what I already knew, but the last time I was in Lansing I saw a late 70's 4-door GM sedan with a custom green paint job, rims, interior... completely greened out. When you get a thousand dollar paint job and $3k worth of rims on a $500 car...
I have honestly never spent any time in East Lansing, but when I was in Lansing I wanted to weep. It was a dump. (And I am speaking as someone completely pro-Detroit who at the time lived in the Bronx)
and the Red Cedar River is way shittier than the Huron River. We don't have an arboretum. We don't have an arcade. When I went to Ann Arbor for the first time I was amazed by how much better the city was and what I was missing out on by living in EL.
What happened to Pinball Pete's? I've spent most of my life here, but since our self imposed exile here a couple of years ago, I really have no desire to venture anywhere east of Cedar or Pennsylvania. Hell, the less I have to leave Delta Township, the better.
East Lansing is definitely no Ann Arbor, but it's not bad neither. If it were anywhere else, I wouldn't minds living there.
It sucks donkey dick.
If he is a young man of character with integrity, who knows how to make a proper choice he will Go Blue.
Otherwise, good luck to him, and wishing him plenty of rest on his back against Michigan.
makes no sense. must be some history there.
... I'd wager the negs were because choosing a school other than Michigan doesn't in any way suggest a high school athlete lacks character or integrity.
Michigan State. Now I agree that it would be worse if it was OSU but it's still Michigan State.

If Dashawn Hand decided in the summer or we had a decent to good season he would have been blue but we didn't and so life goes. I don't know what the point of them wiping it in our faces is. It's about time they got someone we were both in contention for after Drake Harris, Brian Cole, Terry Richardson, Lawrence Marshall, Kyle Bosch, James Ross, Royce Jenkins Stone among others.

Not sure you can claim a big victory when none of those guys have panned out.
He Shall Be Defined by this Tweet.
If Rivals is any indication, MSU is stil the clear leader here, but he does have other offers from Penn State, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Syracuse, USC and a few others. The prediction - which you can take for what it is worth - is MSU with 74% of those who chose to submit predictions saying he'll be a Spartan.
he's going to State either?

He's blue.........
........Penn State blue that is.
with recruitng these kids are fickle and if you're reading into where a kid is going by tweets and visits you going to be off based most of the time. I remember when people thought Brian Cole was a Sparty lock, and when I asked people around him in person they laughed at me cuz he never even enjoyed himself at State

it's gonna be a real shocker...Wichita State it is

So curious here. Is the understanding that King is a complete lock for MSU? Or does another college have a legit shot here?
*edit* in other news, not that i put a tremendous amount of value in crystal balls these days, but they are coming in quite hard for Michigan in regards to Kareem.
