OT: Where Are You?
Oftentimes while reading this blog I notice in the comments people mention where they are presently located in the world. I always (wrongly) imagine that all of the readers are in Michigan, but I am always amazed as to the quantity and diversity of readers' locations. So, out of curiosity, where are you presently located in the world?
I, for one, am currently in the D. How about the rest of you?
Live in Atlanta, work in Duluth (NE suburb of ATL)
live in San Francisco, but on any given day could be in Bogota, London, Mexico City or New York for work.
LAS VEGAS! Or Sin City to some. Fight weekends are ridiculous
Big fights are shown at a lot of local bar and grills for a cover charge. The only hotels to show the fight will be MGM owned hotels who will provide special event centers to watch the fight on big screens for a rather larger fee (over $100 last I heard). The buzz and hype is incredible over the fight here in Las Vegas, much more than any other fight at least in the last decade.
At the moment, Santa Barbara, CA...next week, it's Maryland.
loved it.
honeymoon.

It's spring, so I will probably see Barry Alvarez cruising in his convertible soon.
Ann Arbor.
Okay, I'm lying.
I want this to be true just for its sheer awesomeness. I know it probably isn't, but I REALLY wish it was.
I wish it was true as well. Unfortunately it is not.
Sacramento
Yerevan, Armenia
Probably the only person within 500 miles who regularly reads MgoBlog
I would love for the regular Tbilisi readers to chime in here, just to let us know how far the reach of this blog is.
Incidentally, was in Armenia for a few days not long ago. Very friendly folk there who were more than willing to engage me in polite conversations using my shit version of Russian.
I was just in Tbilisi, though Yerevan is great too. I of course read mgoblog while there so at least for a time there's two mgobloggers in the Caucasus.
EDIT: Okay, now there are at least three.
EDIT EDIT: I accidentally upvoted myself, so rather than living with that shame I downvoted myself.
I was there recently. Use hand sanitizer when you leave.
It all began as a game, now I reveal myself to you all. I am to the left of the sickly looking man in the Rangers jersey.

Seattle, WA
Same. More specifically, in my office in Bellevue.
Although it is a business trip, I should have some time to explore. Besides the fish market, space needle, and Safeco Field, what else should I check out?
Really depends on how much time you have and what your interests are.
If you have a few hours, a car, like to hike get and see some amazing views, head to Rattlesnake Ridge or Mt. Si. (probably what I'd do - you would be amazed at the mountains and beauty of this area)
If you like breweries, check out Georgetown Brewery or Freemont Brew co.
Food - some of the best Asian and seafood in America.
Tourist stuff - EMP is kind of interesting and Duck boat tours of the city are cliche but you see a lot in a short time. Also could rent a kayak and cruise Lake Union at http://www.nwoc.com/rental/.
You have to go to a legal pot store whether or not you smoke. It is a crazy feeling doing something that put so many in jail.
Ballard
Working downtown and can see the draft setup (the outdoor Draft Town).
Used to be in the Uptown neighborhood, but recently moved out to the Western Suburbs. Didn't think gang violence and a new born baby was a good mix.
South loop at work right meow, La Grange (which is french for the grange) in residence.
Fort Worth, TX. Beautiful today - about 80 outside and sunny. Unseasonably cool.
Midtown, Detroit -- at WSU-SOM.
worst kind of school year is one that doesn't end even when it's over
