Jordan Kovacs re-signed by Dolphins
He's just a couple years away from earning that pension... good for Jordan, and thanks Uncle Steve!

Hail yeah.
That's great news for Jordan. Man, I miss having him at Michigan. He was a great leader for M. I hope he gets into coaching when his playing days are done.
Great news. Hope he sees the field a bit more.
just some message board click-bait...
I don't think "resign" as in "to leave a job" is a transitive verb. You can force someone to resign but I don't think you can resign someone or something. I don't think resing as in "to sign again" needs a hyphen.
I'd agree with you - you can't "resign" someone, meaning force to leave a position.
Still, if it's a matter of choice, I'd use the hyphen, simply because there already is the word "resign" in the English language. It would be clearer, and help avoid problems such as this one.
In conclusion... all of you grammar nazi's were wrong, and this was pretty much a non-issue in the first place.
Please hyphenate re-sign. I thought you misused resign in the OP.
the career story of Kovacs! He's a throwback, in many ways reminding me of Rob Lytle (except for the fact that Lytle was a highly-rated recruit), so very tough and dedicated to improving himself daily on both the practice field and playing field.
Great news. Kovacs has been a great representative of the program both on the field and off.
Glad to see that. I was a little taken aback to see Brian and others here posting that Kovacs really wasn't a good safety. I think the fact that he's still in the NFL is pretty good evidence against that.

"I was least happy with Kovacs switching to 11 with two games left in his career because I think Kovacs should have his jersey legend'd right now and handed to any walk-on who finds playing time outside of the offensive line."
I'll go looking for it. It was within the past week or two. I guess maybe I'm mis-remembering, but I don't think so.
Remember that time me and you at band camp?
It was glorious, but we promised we wouldn't talk about it. REMEMBER?
Don't remember the context, but you're not going crazy.
I can't find it, I've been searching since my last reply and now I'm giving up.
Congrats Mr. Kovas and go Dolphins.
Given his size and athletic ability, its a shock that he has held on this long in the NFL...and a huge testament to his intelligence & heart. Good for him.
