It would be cool if Wheatley Jr. was Harbaugh's first committ. I feel like a coach's first committ is a little bit of a distinguishment.

Of course, it would also be cool if the first committ was Iman Marshall, Roquan Smith, or some other stud.

Fred Jackson has done an admirable job both from a recruiting and coaching standpoint for over two decades.

Wheatley will be a teriffic successor - and the same age Jackson when he started.

I'm looking forward to as much running game success in the next 22 years under Wheatley as Jackson's tenure produced in the past 22.

Tyrone Wheatley is a man. He had an incredibly tough upbringing and showed incredible responsibility and resilience getting to where he's gotten. I'll take a guy like that on my team any day.

He's gonna recruit the hell out of Detroit, too.

Wheatley was the best. Tony Boles was amazing. But don't sleep on Jamie Morris. Hart couldn't hold a candle to any of these guys. I really liked Jesse Johnson, Jon Vaughn and Ricky Powers!

Hart couldn't hold a candle to any of these guys? You do realize that Hart is the all time rushing leader (both yards and carries) at Michigan, don't you? He may have been less talented than some others, but don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.

Saying Hart "couldn't hold a candle" to those three is silly.  Hart was a beast who would NOT go down from early in his freshman season.  Fergodsake, he had 200+ yards in 3 straight games as a freshman!  And lest we forget his fumble recovery + first down run in the 4th quarter at MSU his senior year.  Without that play, State probably wins the damn game.

My wife and I decided to name our son Jamie during a Michigan game Jamie Morris was playing in when she was expecting. And when he was born, that's what we named him.

Jamie Morris was an awe inspiring Michigan player. The name suits our son.

Kinda thankful my wife wasn't pregnant when Tyrone Wheatley played, though.

Wheatley is the coach I was really hoping we would land. What a staff Harbaugh has put together.

Isaac and Green should benefit tremendously from Wheatley and Drevno on the OL

Remember when Desmond said Peppers was the only player who seemed to have a fire under him in practice? I cannot wait for Spring practice, better yet I'm keeping my fingers crossed to buy season tickets for the first time!
