...but the score overlay should've stayed at the bottom (like you see on ESPN2).
Everything else is nice and clean, hope they keep it for next year.

Serious question: If Bama and War Eagle goes down today, will ESPN spontaneously combust?
January 1st, 2015 at 1:03 PM ^
Brent Musberger did mention the SEC was down after the 3rd quarter last night. I wonder how much ESPN will dock his pay for that??
There are also rumors that Gary Danielson actually stopped swinging from Saban's jock for a moment when Musberger said that.

It'll be like North Korea.
Speak of it and you're "fired"
(and by "fired"...I mean, dead)

Have to give the DB coaching at MSU credit - they converted their star WR to a corner (Lippett) 3 games ago and now they put another of their WRs (Shelton) into a corner for this game due to all of Baylor's WRs. Can't imagine converting guys like Darboh and Chesson to DBs like that when need arises.

In NCAA 14 played a little second team corner for me
January 1st, 2015 at 1:07 PM ^
Then never played him and got burned by the slot WR all game?

The refs are terrible in this game.

NO FLY ZONE
This is going to be a 45-42 type of game. Both defenses suspect thru the air.

MSU is better coached than Baylor is on defense.
MSU wins.

Why does Wisconsin ever pass?
January 1st, 2015 at 1:03 PM ^
Please Baylor. Play a little defense and throw it at MSU all day. You will destroy them.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:03 PM ^
Just tough to play a team like Baylor - you have to go out there with your 4th/5th CBs who generally are going to be either very young or suspect players.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:11 PM ^
I'll take my chances with Taylor, Countess, Lewis, Stribling and Hollowell.
Of course they'd have no help over the top because our safeties are below average.
With all of the bowl prep time, I would move Stribling to SS, Countess to FS and play Nickel versus Baylor if I was us...all game long.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:17 PM ^
Disagree my friend. Sigh.
Everytime Hollowell was on the field we'd get strifed. Countess had a tough year. Stribling barely played. Baylor has a bunch of 4.4 type WRs. It would not be good. Lewis I trust. Even Taylor was getting eaten up by Siemian. It would be a very rough matchup for us.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:24 PM ^
But it's even tougher when you have no safety help or pressure on the QB.
I wasn't saying I liked our D versus their O. I was saying I think our CBs could hold up versus their WRs...at least as well as anyone else in the country.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:03 PM ^
This is how you beat MSU. You don't try to manball them to death like we have. You throw quick slants every play and deep balls.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:04 PM ^
well yeah if you have Baylor's wideouts it will work lol
January 1st, 2015 at 1:05 PM ^
That's imperative against MSU. Unfortunately, UM hasn't had such a guy since Henne.

Why doesn't Wisconsin take QB recruiting seriously? I'm sick of watching them lose bowl games because of the shit they put behind center.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:24 PM ^
Is it recruiting or player development? I suspect Jim could do better with their QBs.

Tell me why 3 BIG games are on at the same time and SEC was on back to back to back?
January 1st, 2015 at 1:10 PM ^
B/c the semi-finals are also on tonight and they can't be on at the same time...

Just seems a little frustrating to suffer through all of the SEC games and not be able to watch your own BIG games.

Disney's fault.

Baylor's last 3 bowl games tell the story of defense...
2013: Lost to Central Florida 52-42
2012: Beat UCLA 49-29
2011: Beat Washington 67-56
I don't think today's going to be any different. Hopefully they can stull pull off the win.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:10 PM ^
Neither defense is going to stop the other team much.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:15 PM ^
January 1st, 2015 at 1:16 PM ^
Baylor was never a top four team. Not with this atrocious defense.
January 1st, 2015 at 1:16 PM ^
Why is Chryst sitting in the stands at the UW game? I understand why he wouldn't be coaching but shouldn't he at least be on the sideline?
January 1st, 2015 at 1:23 PM ^
Like what is gonna do except get in the way or be a distraction.
